Great video as usual Ben, you done good with the pullman and steam within minutes of each other. I must say i've always admired the archetecture of Atherstone station, it looks so grandiose don't you think ? Keep 'em coming Ben and take care 👍Colin.
Yes I always have wanted to film at Atherstone as it is also a nice looking station. Unfortunately though when surrounded by Tamworth, Nuneaton and Water Orton it doesn't always get preference. It was perfect for this occasion though. Thanks as always for commenting and watching Pete
Pleased you got what you wanted to get Ben, I see you wasn't alone as there was a few enthusiasts there, I will let you off with them Avanti things getting in the way of the freight, but you did film a PPPPP which shocked me a little. You certainly had a great hour there and your presentation at the start was ace. Take Care Mike.
Super video Ben. Insane speeds through there, to think there are miles upon miles of fencing to keep people off the railway then we let them come within inches of those fast freights on station platforms.🤔 The Blue Pullman looked quite pedestrian compared to everything else. That Merchant Navy was a bonus, such a nice engine.
Thanks Mick. Short and sweet video for Saturday night before everyone goes out into the lovely warm weather we are having 🤔🤣 Yes the great fence debate.... Don't get me started on that. 🤐 Yes the blue pullman, as good as it looked it was a bit mediocre as it coasted through haha. Always nice to see a steamer though.
@@benGBRf It detached at York and went to Carnforth. Could be on The North Wales Coast Express tour tomorrow (Liverpool to Holyhead) or The Welsh Mountaineer on Tuesday (Preston to Blaenau Ffestiniog). The 25th it is on The Dalesman (Chester to Carlisle and return, steam Hellifield out and back to Carnforth). I thought it was 50008 doing all the work in both directions.😁😁😁
