Business Sector 54 Productionz presents Ben GBRf channel. I am currently a Operations Manager for GB Railfreight based in the East Midlands. This channel is mainly dedicated to UK railways in particular Railfreight. The channel is inspired by my train enthusiasm and being fascinated by trains all my life. I am currently filming all over the country and these videos will be released on my RU-vid channel so I hope you all can enjoy them and then find the chance to like the videos and comment on them. If you like them then please subscribe to my channel. Any tips and feedback is much appreciated. I hope you enjoy this channel.
I will also be occasionally releasing videos of French Railways. I use to travel to France regularly when I was younger and did a lot of spotting out there, so I am getting back into it now with trips already planned. Future footage across Europe is being considered as well.
i worked there for 6 years and drove loco 76 mostly dragging torpedos from apfrod blast furnaces to boss plant I'm in tears to see her [time 8.04 ] stripped down to just chassis and cab heart-broken
One of many in there David. I went there last Saturday again and a lot of the old shunters have been removed from the rails awaiting cutters torch. Sad times, thanks for your comment.
Fortunately the French scene isn't busy enough to lose my interest in the UK scene but I do worry if I go somewhere like Germany. Thanks as always Mike
What an excellent video to round up the French series. They have all been most enjoyable to watch so thank you for your time and effort in making those videos Ben.
Just brilliant Ben, i've really enjoyed watching all your videos from France and this one was just as good as the others mate. Thanks for sharing this collection and if there's more from Europe in your collection then bring it on 🙂All the best mate, Colin.
Great video Ben, you and Mike seemingly had a fantastic day in Oxfordshire and it was great to watch the action you got, especally at Appleford. Thanks for sharing Ben, Colin.
Ok Ben this was like watching a video where I wasn't with you as there a fair few shots which are different to mine which is great. You did a better job at Didcot North with the one class 70 which I knew you would have, but at Appleford your zoom filming was excellent I think.
I love that train called Furious. It makes me think of Daniel Ashville Louisy, who like me is crazy about trains. I only wish I were younger as I'd definitely be writing to GBRf and asking if there were any roles which could suit me.
Great video Ben, the reason I am saying that is the amount of 507 footage which you must of seen the units twice, and what a surprise with that LE 69 you got on film. Oh yes you captured the sound of 507001 perfectly, which my son Paul went on today to get some food from Southport.. Great stuff Mike.
Cracking vid there Ben,need to visit a couple of those locations myself.Do like a 70 working hard, shame 003 wasn’t working on the day for you.Regards Dave👍🏼
A very good mix of French trains and a English shed Ben, I did hear some heavy breathing from you, I hope that was excitement of seeing great freight trains in France, cheers for the upload Mike.
Great video Ben. How will the 5 day track posession (27-31 July) between Leamington and Bicester North disrupt freight? Any idea which routes they will be redirected onto?
Hatton North Junction looked like a nice place to be on the day, birds singing, no howling wind then a distant rumble of a 68 getting ever louder to shatter the illusion of peace and tranquility. Great video all round Ben.
We will regret in the future that Green Zelots have crippled our country . Germany still uses coal power for generation . We are too goody goody . Global warming is a big smoke screen. John
Fantastic Ben. The triple header on coal hoppers on 3.55. was a great catch and so good to see some ex EWS 66's working away out there. Really enjoyed mate, thanks for sharing and i look forward to the next episode. Best regards Ben, Colin.
No short freights here Ben, was impressed with the amount of doubleheaders you filmed at this location, and I have to mention the red sheds which was great to see. 😊😊
I guess there's been some track work somewhere not to far away. Love the weed plough on the front of the class 507 as it enters the platform. What on earth was that pink think ? Great video.
Posable two trains to from the UK the 66 looks like the daventry walter vands and the DB 185/6 looks like the ALu novelis train with the vans on the back , gret euro action ben
Very nice mate - having been to Hazebrouck a few times I’ve never actually gone to this spot, I’ve always driven past it on the other side of the road! Great to see sheds doing their thing 😎. Looks like that green gate/fence is new, it’s not there on Google maps. What a bummer as it’s right in the way!
Excellent video Ben, you caught some very good freight workings and locos. Double headers, triple headers, but the good old 66's can do it all on their own.😁
So sorry to hear about your loss Ben. This is a lovely tribute to him. My Dad passed away in 2007 and I was away in Kazakhstan on a plane trip and Mike kindly drove to Heathrow to pick me after I got an earlier flight back to the UK. Take care, Matt
Thanks Matt. I literally met him a few days before he passed to get the photos for this video. Not did I know it would be a tribute to him in the end 😢
A great shame that the politicians have decided to cease coal production and power generation from it. Britain's CO2 output was less than 2 % of world manmade output. An insignificant amount in my view and a great loss to close off an energy resource. Furthermore, hardly economic or environmental sense to be importing coal from places like Venezuela when there are still huge deposits here. Thank you for caring to record this great but sad event.
Fantastic video, loved it, well done. For someone from Lincoln, heading back home from down south from any trip or dropping off the M1, the sight of these cooling towers always got me. For I then know the trip home is almost done. they were my gateway to home counties. Are there any rail tours planned to go around the site before decommissioning? like they did with Cottam recently?
