1:16 “He would come home late in the day, sometimes at night, and he’d leave early in the morning. I personally would not want that job. Anyways, he seemed to have the weekends off.” Oh the joys of listening to stories written by gen z authors, lol. His roommate leaves early in the morning, gets home late in the day, and has weekends off. That is like the most average, universal work schedule of all time 😂. But OP describes it like an egregious inconvenience. I’m a millennial, so I’m not on my boomer high horse, but this is still funny to listen to. He didn’t describe the job, just the schedule, and the schedule was just normal corporate hours.

The third story, she should have just straight up rejected him and be honest instead of giving him hope. That doesn’t excuse him being a stalker and creep though. But given how you never know how someone will react when you reject them, that’s probably why she lied initially.
