I like the intro! Tysm for your time. My pops was a prepper. He taught me a lot of cool things, that I in turn was able to teach my boys. I guess it caught on living vicariously through my oldest boy lol. Dang kid became a sharp shooter. He's in his 4th year of the army.
i see myself snoozing under that blanket on the couch in front of that fire with soft rain outside....listening to spooook stories, with a glass of wine...
The guy who had the terrible experience in Slab City should be writing books! I hope he is, that was a very well-written record of his ordeal, and one I can relate to. 20 or so years ago me & a friend were kidnapped in Tijuana and held for ransom. I guess they assumed we had wealthy families since we were youngsters from San Diego & are white guys. Nothing could've been further from the truth. That didn't stop them from holding us captive in a shanty village on the outskirts of TJ for 3 days, locked in a room inside a ramshackle house, guarded by guys carrying rifles who would periodically take us out one at a time & demand us at gunpoint to "call someone with money" to pay for our lives- as if there was a family member I could just call, who had $20k in the bank, or even $2000..... We both did contact our families, feigning the attempt to get the money somehow but more than anything, just speaking to my mom and letting her know what was happening. So after all that, I guess they just didn't have the stomach to kill us? and they let us go, minus our passports & all our possessions. Yes, getting through customs back into the US was a hassle but after a few hours in secondary they let us through. That incident in TJ was extremely traumatizing.
Nearly 3am over here in the UK, just finished a project I've been working on all day and I've just seen Booze and Boos has posted again. I think I'll settle in and watch this before I get some sleep.
Slab City is chill my grandmother use to spend months out there in Winter when I was a kid in her trailer. It’s a very chill relaxed place with ALL kinds of people.
1st story, No you were not just seeing things. The man was looking for help, for someone to find his body. He wanted to give his family some closer. It's easier for them to show themselves to the young. He came back to tell you Thank you!!
By far the best voice ive hearf so far. Videos ave 45 to an hour perfect. Stories range from creepy to everyday scenarios too. I dont eant ti here a ling 3-5 hour CRYPTID video. With rhe rain and your vocals its perfect. Everything just right i can hear the relaxing rain with your tone just perfect. Dont change any please. I catch myself binge listening eyes closed for hours lol they're just to good bro frfr, yhe cryptic wit dogman or creatures actually being physical with homes and stuff is the best appreciate it tho these do help with anxiety, and rather listen then watch television tbh best sound with rain ive heard on you tube. ( raven, mortis , lilth, darkness prevails, etc im a listener to all so i dead serious about the sound lol
Amazing how much you have grown and improved. And you were great before! All the stories were a creepy reminder of the mayhem that lurks just beyond the fringes. I appreciate being a part of a functioning society, with all that it entails. My husband and I were tempted to get into off grid living, but we settled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, near Lake Tahoe, on a large property, with very close neighbors in a somewhat rural town, that has major tourism. Not Tahoe, but another place in Nevada close by, that’s always featured on the Discovery channel. It’s a weird balance of rural quiet and tourist bustle. We get 2 million visitors each year. But we also have wild horses and a bear that digs in our trash occasionally. Yeah…
@@cherylcampbell9369That seems to be something that ALOT of the narrators on here have a problem with, I've noticed!! Consequently , I've become rather picky about who I listen to....smh. This person IS human,though...😊 He has a nice voice, anyway. Kim
You should cover some police, first responder, private investigator and/or true crime stories. Keep up the good work! I appreciate all the effort that goes into making these 🫡
When you’re in a scary stories compilation to fall asleep to and your opponent is not saying “hustle and bustle” every time you describe how much you don’t like living in a city.
Public schools wouldn't send a bus way out for a single student, they'd either be homeschooled or the state would order that the parents drive the child to school daily
I dod enjoy all of the stories and i agree with the guy who thought the guy from the woods was the killer. The middle stoy I hope the gal is as she says doing mich better and horrible to go through as well as the last story that was grace of higher power lookin out for that dude glad he made it out alive and got his stuff back quick action and thinking on his part i know that's what saved him. Well its agood job on the narration and the video! 😊
Story 1. I'm so tired of these parents not believing there kids. He didn't say he saw a dragon or some sht , it's totally possible for a stalker to be in the woods and looking threw someone's window
They were all great stories, but that last one had my adrenaline going. What a creepy scenario. I usually carry most places I go and all I could do was picture being in a scenario like that, reaching for my piece and finding only an empty holster. That is what nightmares are made of. 😂
First stories not technically off-grid if you had a phone book and a phone. Also in the first story maybe they kidnapped that kid and that was his real dad coming and trying to get him back that's why the dad was so freaked out
It’s hard to believe these guys were held for days without food or water. You can last a while without food but you don’t last long without water. So pretty much fiction, lol.
Story 1, if you've seen the potential murderer of a local victim, you must report it to the police. Any piece of information can help the investigation.
Hey booze! Love ur channel anyway that first story sounds made up lol like several people surrounding a campfire and telling spooky stories. Not a person recounting a past trauma people don't talk like that. "Shadows dancing in the dark!" 😂 Etc... Some people will do anything to have you narrate their story. Can you blame them tho? Best voice sounds soothing and calming keep up the good work! Lol I was drinking when I wrote this don't be too hard on me 😂 🍷
Story 1 is more believable than most. The narration definitely sounds A.I. due to the same damn cadence every sentence. I hope i can ignore that, bc it bugs me. I also notice that on stories, toward the end (~13:30 on story one) the "emotion" setting, pace, and background music gets turned up. A.I. narration bugs the s*** out of me. Trying to hang in there for this channel, though. 🙂
You talk WAAAAY too fast !! Slow it down a little bit dude! What's the rush?? Not that you need to be like molasses in winter but you speed through with no care for how the story is going at all. You're reading way to harsh. Like just read like you're actually talking and take your time
Oh... Look at that beautiful cabin. I want to be there, except, considering what is sure to be the content of these stories, there is probably a wendigo, werewolf, Bigfoot...or possibly all three... In those beautiful woods, watching through all of those windows....and not a curtain or blind to be seen. Other than that it looks perfectly cozy ❤
Love that cabin. Nice polished log home. Fireplace crackling, raining outside while staying warm inside. Just keep several firearms near you. A 12 gauge shotgun near thr door, a .308/7.62x51 semi rifle in a convenient place. A couple if handguns including .357/.45 magnum.
I’d never have a cabin with such huge windows. Unless they had steel shutters you could slam down at the touch of a button. That cabin looks like something out of a luxury ski resort, lol.
That opening piece with that "stereotypical pizza dliviery car silhouette" just cracked me up waaaay more than it probably should have, but... My dumb older brother was a pizza delivery dude for Papa John's for like, 8 months after he graduated college back in 2006 (yeah- aim for the stars, Mark! You put that new Bachelor's degree to good use! 👍🏻) & that... That may as well have BEEN his busted Subaru Outback with that damn lit up pizza sign ontop... Adorable 💕
