2 hours of true scary stories and terrifying ghost encounters as the rain falls on this dark night. Fall asleep to tales of ghosts, evil clowns, possessions, haunted dolls and other dark stories of the paranormal. I’m sharing some of the creepiest stories I’ve found online recently so you can relax and unwind while listening to true scary stories. The rain sounds will continue for around 10 minutes after the stories end to hopefully keep you nice and relaxed (or ideally fast asleep) Scary stories and relaxing sounds, what more could you need?
Just remember, do not look in the back seat.

This is hands down the best paranormal channel on the platform. The style, the aesthetic, editing, narration (this one can make or break it), the research, the personality that comes through, its all 10/10. I eagerly wait to listen to these at work and at night. Simply the best.

I agree. You keep your voice low and on the quiet side and that's huge for me. Alot of the other narrator's are a bit too loud for my liking. Boy i really do enjoy this. I literally just found your channel. I'm gonna finish this video and go to sleep. Thanks again

I also agree! True crime/scary is all I listen too and I struggle to find a narrator whose voice/cadence and stories I like. It's hard for me to find one that ticks all the boxes but from what I've heard so far it seems like The Tape Library does! Usually I'll like the voice but the stories are not good or the stories are great but the narration is terrible. Not too mention I'm not a fan of 99.9% of creepypastas and these days it's like that's all you can find from good narrators. Anyways keep it up TTL and it'll pay off.

I fell asleep to this but woke up when the guy left his apartment when his budgie bird started screaming, only to come back and find it almost dead. Bad bird owner. You take your animals with you if you think something is in there hurting them! Then he stayed for another year and a half, and then refused to speak to anyone but the narrator about the events. This dude pissed me off.

You will have a HUGE following for sure. You are really what I have been looking for. I have about 3 or 4 fav horror story channels that I listen to but I've just about listened to all their videos. All the long ones anyway. I fall asleep to these stories so I don't listen to anything that's under an hour long. I have OCD so these videos help keep my anxiety down and relax me also keeps my mind busy so I can fall asleep. My mind never shuts off, I'm an insomniac. So please keep these videos coming and don't change anything lol. You will be big in NO time! 💯🙏👍✌️

This sort of video combines two things that I love listening to while on my night shifts: the sound of rain, and spooky stories. A very enjoyable 2 hours; thank you! There are so many creepy urban legends and folk tales from Japan that you could probably do a similar video of similar length consisting of that theme alone. Just a suggestion!

Rain is one of my favorite things to listen to at night. I love a good ghost story anytime. Here I am, all warm and cozy, listening to you and the rain…the haunted ambulance 🚑 was great. I once worked in a haunted hospital. It was interesting that the spirit always turned the lights in a particular room on. I have often wondered how many of the people I met in the hospital halls were actually spirits. At 3 AM it’s easy to rationalize the things you see.

Btw, is the background spec/fx sound, the drumming of rain? or as i hear it in my limited capacity, The sound of a train speeding along the tracks ? Especially the section where you tell short creepy tales, gives me a vision of an old steam train in the Victorian era, sitting in a semi dark, sepia tinted compartment & a gentleman is telling his fellow passengers some chilling ghost tales. I love the sound of the rumbling steel wheels of the train along the tracks, in the twilight which is lulling to begin with, but with melodic tones of a storyteller are a sublime bonus! It’s a short story that didn’t happen to me. I used to do gymnastics and I had this one coach who was my favorite. We once asked him to tell us a scary story or maybe it was that we asked him if he had ever seen a ghost. I don’t remember which one we asked, but I just know that he told us the story. He said that when he was younger her had one of those old game boys and that one night after it was very late and his parent had gone to bed he was playing a game. He was under the covers as to not allow any light to escape and get noticed even though his parents were already asleep. As he was lying there he thought he heard his father coming down the hall so he quickly hid his game boy and pretended to be asleep. As he lay there the door cracked open and he heard something crawl up the wall and across his ceiling. He sat there for a moment terrified as e waited for something to happen. But nothing did. So he gathered all of his courage and said, “Go away!” He heard the thing crawl back across the ceiling, down the wall, and watched as his door closed.

Oh Cripes! Ive got this turned up to the max & even plugged into my new enhanced speakers & i can JUST about hear! 😕 Although i love your soft dulcet speaking voice, it doesnt help when the overall volume is so low So to combat the prob, ive just put subtitles on, so actually seeing what im hearing helps loads! Apart from my whinge, i love your channel & although a newbie i have listened to 85% of your back videos & have enjoyed them immensely! You hang in there T.L. your content is FIRST CLASS & your voice is perfect & remeber the fine words of Laou Tzei ( forgive my spelling ) and Confucious Who more or less said The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins With The First Step! To avoid ads, start the video, then scroll to the end. Not quite the very end though. Resume playing the last few seconds till it ends 'naturally' then press replay. No ads will show during this 2nd playback. You're welcome
