Hello maestro Daniel! Thank you for the very good video ! I learned so much! I have a question: how would the weight of the headstock alter tone? I'm 50 y.o. beginner on electric guitar , (and violin starter) and replaced the metal tuning-knobs on my selfbuild electric guitar with fancy looking orange plastic ones- and imediatly noticed a loss of bottom end and sustain. The difference was about 6 grams. Then I put back the metal knobs, and tone was better. For my ears, the guitar needs even heavier knobs (or tuner), and I will experiment with brass-knobs... Never heard of fine-tuning of violin tone with headstock weight. Greetings from Germany
where is the exact placement of the soundpost supposed to be? I notice my sound post is not on the center but more toward the E string side. and how can I move it if it is wrong?

Hi sir I have a $200 violin and I have a wolf tone on the D string in third position and I am thinking about changing the bridge is that a good idea? Or should I change the string on the violin?
Just curious, how do you know so easily the difference between a 'violin shaped box' (time 5:40) and a real violin? Would you do a video on this? I would be very interested!
Hi sir... in my violin height of fingerboard is 18 mm and maximum height of bridge is 33 mm so is make the Gstring height from fingerboard 7mm and e string 5mm is it perfect?
With all due respect Daniel, I've been following your videos closely and in all this time I've never seen you work on an important violin. Only Chinese trade fiddles or a bit above. This kind of violins don't require great expertise as they will not respond to subtle changes in set-up.
