2 Ingredient Donut - Hot fresh Donuts in Minutes - Kids Love Them - The Hillbilly Kitchen
These Donuts are absolutely delicious, fast and easy. They are perfect for a quick tasty treat or special breakfast. Your family can enjoy fresh hot donuts for about 10 cents each!!! Which is an incredible value in today's economy. Be prepared, because everyone is going to want you to make them again. They were a snow day tradition when my kids were little. I know your children will enjoy them and you will make great memories with them.
Proverbs 22:7 - The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

Love it! My tip: if you don't have powdered sugar; put granulated sugar in a blender and add 1 tsp of corn starch. Blend on high and viola- powdered sugar.
@recoveringsoul755
@recoveringsoul755 8 месяцев назад
A viola is a musical instrument, similar to a Violin. You want Voila, the O first (Not being mean, just educating. Might be a typo)
@luxuryqueen42
@luxuryqueen42 8 месяцев назад
What’s the purpose of the corn starch?
@recoveringsoul755
@recoveringsoul755 8 месяцев назад
@@luxuryqueen42 I'm not sure here. But if I shred my own cheese and don't want it to all stick together in the bag, especially since if I freeze some, I'll put a little cornstarch in the bag and make sure it gets all around. Then I can take a handful of frozen shredded cheese And add it to something I'm making. So in my example it's an anti cakng agent
@Huntnlady7

GOOD IDEA! Refrigerated biscuit dough usually does NOT have egg. Therefore, they are safe for my Grandson who has a potentially lethal egg allergy where even a small amount of egg can make Him very ill. He would like it with vanilla icing and served with vanilla ice cream.

@jerryodell1168- PEOPLE WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO CHICKEN EGGS CAN EAT DUCK EGGS WITHOUT HARM. Raise some Pekin hens for yourself and see. When I was little (I’m 73 now) my mother would make these using her big electric skillet. She would make them when we were going to the drive in movies, put them in a paper bag with some cinnamon sugar & give them a light shake to coat them. She would also do up a big bag of popcorn using the same oil & same skillet. Add a big jug of KoolAid & we were set. We NEVER went to the snack stand. I’ve been thinking about those donuts a lot over the last few years. I think I may even still have her old donut cutter. I need to dig into the back of my utensil drawer.

I like to make twist donuts too. Just roll the buicuts into snakes and twist them. And you can flavor and color glaze what ever you want to create. My mom made these for us and I atill make them. My grandpa loved them hot and fresh too. You can use powder sugar and leave whole and filled with jelly or Nutella. Peanut butter and jelly. Full the whole donute will your fave jelly, microwave some oeanut butter till melted like a glaze and dip the top in it. Or just as a glaze. You can take cake icing and use it. Like it is or melted down a little bit in microwave and dipp it in. With various toppings! What ever your imagination takes you! So fun to personalize each donutes for the kids to do! ❤❤❤❤😋😋😋

Found this channel and really love the host as she reminds me of my extended family in Oklahoma. I am from California-(I know…I’m sorry). I can cook a little bit, not much. However, tried this out using PB Grand Homestyle Buttermilk Biscuits. It’s all they had at the store. Fried them in about 1/4” oil in the pan (teflon). Electric stove set a little higher than medium. Coated them with cinnamon-sugar mix and they came out GREAT! THANK YOU, DEAR SISTER, FOR THE GREAT VIDEO! Going forward, We plan to make these donuts when guests come for the weekend. God Bless!

We would play in the snow and then have hot chocolate with marshmallows. My kids still remember it as one of their favorite memories. God bless you.

Oh my gosh!! What a walk down memory lane! Our mom always made these! And I'm getting ready to make some for my daughter's birthday breakfast. My mom's was better than mine 😂 hopefully your method will result in better ones!

My youngest child would be 52 years of age. I made these for my family when they were little. My mother-in-law also made these. It was always a tradition to do for fall and have apple cider with them. Yes so delicious when still warm.

My Mom made them in the late 60s early 70s in a mini drop fryer. We'd cut them in half before frying them drop them in a brown lunch bag full of powdered sugar. They were so good!
