In game 1 it seems to me Round 7 not picking a combat power and killing or at least neutering the Carry Wasps was where Blue threw the game. I also think the counter to super-fat carry wasps is Range+Air-Spec Marksmen, or loads of Phoenixes (kinda also depends on whether the Carry Wasp player has Air-Spec on the Wasps). There's usually few enough Wasps to get shut down by single-shots at a time, whereas especially if the Wasps have laser sights Mustangs have a hard time matching it, if only because they will just get killed by everything on the ground trying to get into range.

I dont own the game but even I think the free units is such a tier 1 garbage mechanic I cant even imagine how it would be to play this. Might even stop watching videos of it entirely, its not that interesting when it seems like the tactics and player skill takes the back seat for pure simple RNGesus that can bail people out from all their previous mistakes in one go like that.

the extra unit drops actually dramatically amplify how much higher skill players win, being able to asses the board to predict the opponents picks and to properly adjust your play to the drops dramatically, these games it looks pretty clowny and swingy because these replays are potato MMR. Low MMR is fun to watch, but not a good representation of how the game plays.
