i was in hysterical laughter with your last story, i was imagining in my head of what it was like for him, in a movie kinda way. The guy was so naive and not even giving his holiday a chance especially in an amazing city as Pattaya which has so much to offer a single guy. I've been thailand 4 times and spent over 2 months on one occasion and it's the most amazing country i've ever visited, come 2022 when all this pandemic is over i'll be there again, great stories keep it up.

So, these stories not only show me new sides of Thailand that I have never seen or heard of since they are so far away from my social circle, it also keeps me connected to Thailand (since, y’know, we’re all stuck where we are because of COVID). Hi Pim, I'm really happy that you like the stories and your Thai. In no way are these stories meant to be derogatory towards Thai people and I always make a big deal of telling people we are talking only about bar-girls not regular Thai women. It's unfortunate that so many guys are looking for love in the wrong places and the outcome is inevitable. Guys send me the stories and I read them out, they seem to be popular and people seem to enjoy them. To hear a Thai person tell me that they like the stories it really means a lot to me thanks very much.
I noticed that you remind people regularly that these stories turned out the way that they did because of the specific situations of the people involved. I never take offense and I don’t know why any reasonable Thai person would. I don’t care too much out the country’s reputation either. These stories are real and we shouldn’t be in denial. But I also know too well that many foreigners would think of Thais, especially Thai women, in one massive group. I’m glad that you are not one of those and that’s why I’m your channel’s fan!
Lol what? As long as you have stories sent in to you, it'll go on for ages. These are like audiobooks about things that pique the interest of men. Highly enjoyable I think! Who doesn't enjoy a good story?
As I say, “If viewers enjoy listening to these stories and guys continue to send them in, why should I stop reading them just because of a few complainers who don’t like them?” If people don’t like the stories they can simply click away, it is not like they are watching a paid subscription service and they have a right to complain about value for money!

Keep this channel going mate, I went to Thailand Green as a Goose, absolutely no idea what was about to happen, if I'd of seen you vlogs before I went there it would've helped me so so much, so these videos will help people who are planning to spend time there, I can speak from experience mate.
I had this dowry conversation with my GF short after we've met too. I told her to tell her mom that she will get from me whatever I'm willing to give her, and if she's not happy with it, we won't waste any time, and break up immediately. I never heard the word dowry again. My GF knows me enough to realize that I'm willing to walk away at anytime if she/they make me feel uncomfortable. I'm in a very good financial situation, but I'm not going to become anyone's cash cow.

I just told my wife (she was 29 with 1 boy at the time) that I know that "second hand " ladies not getting any dowry. Never was asked by anyone about " sin sod" in the family.
I found peters channel simply out of the blue. I’ve been watching regularly now for a few months. Informative honest and straightforward. Can’t ask for anything more. Keep it up Peter and damn the haters👍
There's many people who would probably agree with you but I wouldn't fabricate a story that's not what my channel is about I have emails from viewers from every story that was sent into me stored on my laptop
I’ve met a lot of people who don’t like Bangkok, and have bad first impressions but as soon as they go down south to the islands or up north and see the landscapes there opinion quickly changes. The thing is Thailand isn’t for everyone and I like that about it, it is almost like a bit of a niche tourism destination, and people who come back, come back because they really love the place. The last guy really can’t give a fair judgement of the place when all he visited was Pattaya for a day, then an airport hotel for the next day.
I found Pattaya ok but when i visited Puckett, i didn't care for it. I didn't get the feeling of welcome from the people like i do in the resat of Thailand. I have lived in Thailand for 14 years and traveled a lot of it. I love everything about the country, the culture and the people. I am going to retire there permanently this year.

It’s crazy that anyone would pay these huge dowry’s! I can see helping out the parents if you can afford it but I would never give $100,000 to anyone! Love the stories Peter….

As for the last story, well, some people should never leave their bubble (Thailand is not a place for a germaphobe who doesn't eat airplane food!) as everyone involved will be better off. Peter, how can someone be expected to pay a large dowry for a "used" woman? I thought the large payments were for the virgin, educated ones. As for me, I guess I will never marry a good Thai girl (even though I'd like to), because I will refuse to pay any amount because I will be taking care of her financially for the rest of our lives.
Hi I think it's only bar girls and go go dancers who try it on with big dowries, decent girls won't expect so much. Most Thai women are great just don't get mixed up with a prostitute
Ignore the nay-sayers, the internet is full of people who thrive on negativity. For every person who 'likes' or subscribes there will be 10+ who also watch and like you but don't actually 'like' or subscribe. Why on earth would someone watch something they don't like long enough to feel compelled to go and post a negative comment?
Peter If someone is getting bored with your stories they have a choice whether to listen or not. I think those complaining are only a few while the majority still enjoy these stories. Hope you will continue the stories as i enjoy them very much.

Something similar happened to me where I was supposed to meet somebody in Chiang Mai for a wedding and they ended up not showing up. I spent a week by myself in Chiang Mai and enjoyed myself immensely. Followed up by another week in Bangkok. The difference between that story and mine was that I've had international travel experience so was not so put off by things going off the rails. Thanks for the storys P...

Peter i got lost in pattaya when i first went could not find hotel but next day i took card from hotel with me so i could just show motor bike taxi worked out great did it all the time now i know my way about but its a good tip thanxs peter

I like the stories, and much prefer to the vlogs of ex-pats in Thailand / Pattaya bemoaning the effect of the scamdemic on bars and premises in the region. Keep them coming peter.
Peter well said 👏 with the Gentleman from Pennsylvania (PA). I can bet that was is first time out of the country. He didn't do any research or have an open mind towards the world. The problem was with him. Very, very rare someone visited Thailand and not coming back home happy despite their experience good or bad.
