i forgot to ask but is it because the box is tuned 35hz or up that gets the bass to travel like that on video like the way the windows of the building was shaking.Can i do that with a lower tuned box ?

Been seriously considering getting a set of the massive hippo sumo 8". Idk I just want to hit a 140 db somehow on a single 8 or two 8's if that is more obtainable. Anyone out there hitting big number from a single 8" (not in the port readings) sub? Any tips, hints, tricks?
Yo mike I got a g37 sedan the trunk is kinda small, you think I can hit 140+ with 2 12s in a 4th order or should I try and fit 15s? Right now I just have some audio pipe 12’s on a 3k and stock electrical and I’m looking to upgrade batteries and alternator.
What you think about them hawks? They compare to tha massives? I like them I think they are underrated for sure I haven’t got them in a built box yet but I think they gonna do good.
@@mikessplboxes7497 because they are intended to be an spl sub but with them properly broken in and the correct box design they will get into the 20s happily
