Can we also acknowledge the fact that Scyther has TWO evolutions that have the exact base stat total as Scyther does? Kleavor ALSO has a base 500 stat total as does Scyther and Scizor

They're a clan member horde. The have noble fighting Traditions from direct anime canon - so it totally makes sense the BSTs would be the same despite as much as me wanting Scizor's BST to have been a bit higher. Scizor is a Scyther with a Metal Coat & Kleavor simply uses the Black Augurite item like any normal 'Stone' evolution. @@dr.toxicgamingmadscientist

1:40 Clamperl was my first ever shiny, so I'm not forgetting that one anytime soon. I was going along the seafloor in Alpha Sapphire, just trying to get somewhere but not super urgently so I couldn't be bothered wasting my money on repels, when I encountered this purple-shelled Clamperl. I didn't know what shinies were at the time, but I'd never encountered a Clamperl that looked like that before, so my instinct was that it was rare and I should catch it. I guess I have good instincts haha! I called it Purple Shell.

Team Aria would have worked. It means “air” and ends in an A. Plus it also is used to refer to vocal compositions within larger works like opera and operetta, so you could also toss in some of the musical pokemon.

Chikorita is genuinely my favorite Johto starter. It's mostly nostalgia, I suppose, but it was the one I picked as a kid and never really regretted it. Is it great in battle? No, but it didn't really need to be since I wasn't competitively battling. It was good enough for a playthrough team and I like its design more than the Cyndaquil and Totodile lines.
