Huh, I heard that both flat sides up was "laughing gods" since they look like laughing mouths when moving around and flat sides down was no.

Well. Maybe it’s different people’s tradition. The way shown in the video is from the friend who runs the temple and many other people in Hk.

@@HONGKONGUIDE Yeah, there's likely no standard way even for really simple stuff like this. It's probably best to tell the gods what set of responses you're using so nothing gets wrong.

The common norm is both round side is smile because they look like lips 👄

Both flat sides down is "no", both flat sides up is "smile", or means question is not clear, ask again.
