This is fine, I would only caution against using a single PCI-e power cable on a GPU if your GPU requires two power cables. Use two separate power cables to plug in your two GPU power sockets to avoid stressing one cable.

Planning on building a new pc soon. This makes it look so nice, easy and fun, but my first pc build took me over 8 hours to get running and my second was just as bad. Maybe this time I can get over being so incapable though

Not to scare first time builders, but you will encounter problems you might no expect when building your pc, so I'll list down a few. Just for awareness. 1. Some pc cases have very limited cable management spot, so don't worry too much about making your pc looks good. As long as it can run. 2. Some case fits 120mm fans, while some fit 140mm fans. So keep that in mind when purchasing the case and fans separately. 3. Speaking about fans. The marketing picture can sometimes be misleading so check carefully if you're going for RGB fans. Look up guides for how to install fans of the brand that you want to buy, cause some brands have different ways to control the RGB, and plugging the fans into the wrong mobo header can damage it. 4. Do some extensive research about PSUs before you buy one for your build. PSUs aren't build equal, some of them might not have the connectors that you need for your other components. And look up PSU tierlist for tier C (and up) PSUs.

Currently building my first PC. The PSU (Corsair HX1000) came with 3 PCIE cables - would i use 2 of these to connect the PSU to the GPU (RTX 3080ti)? Also, I'm using 2TB M.2 SSD on the motherboard - am I right in thinking that this doesn't need any cables (unlike the "normal" kind of SATA SSDs?). Apologies for the noob questions!

I dont have much experience with computers but my friends are helping me build one, I disassembled an old computer my parents had to use its case and I keep thinking it'd be so funny to keep the old floppy disk drive but I doubt it'd be compatible with all my new things

I recommend an hour or longer video because if it’s ur first time building a pc u would barely understand any of this and a step by step guide would be much better. This is a pretty decent tutorial though.

Don't forget about the Hard Disk Drives and the Optical Disc Drives in there, they are still important

If I have an ssd that’s already been used for one build and already has windows installed, would there be an issue with reusing it in another motherboard?
