I am plus size too. When I travel in cold weather, I bring silk longjohns and top. That way I can wear them under everything and only need to wash them, allowing my shirts to be worn lots of times. No bulky sweaters. I pack crinkly cotton shirts for no ironing and bring a light, thin, short merino cardigan to layer over top. I always bring my long cashmere shawl collar cardigan for really light warmth. No jeans cause they are too heavy and not warm. All my socks are wool as are my gloves, mittens and hat: small things that really make a difference for warmth.
Hey, I've moved away from jeans for the same reasons - for winter travel at least. And I'm also with you on the no bulky sweaters. AND the silk base layers (altho for extreme cold nothing tops merino imo). But I do like to watch Danie for her ideas - I tend to be quite conservative so Danie brings a fresh perspective for me
Thank you for showing a plus sized Winter packing list. If you could include a summary of your packing list e.g. 3 pants, 4 sweaters etc in your description box, that would be amazing. I’m heading to Ireland in the spring which can be 4-12 degrees Celsius so this video was very helpful and I realized my tentative packing list is too big. Time to edit !
I m taking a complete set of thermals this time last time just had top.. I ld probably just buy a much thicker jacket as puffa isnt warm enough.. then leave it or give it away at end...

What a great packing video. Though I'm not plus size, I'm very tall and get cold easily, so my clothes are large as well. This was great to watch. However, can you do one where you include toiletries as well?
Question about your North Face rain coat. My daughter & I are going to Paris and London in November. Nov is the rainy season. Was your rain coat lined, or just plain? I am taking my wool coat & my Columbia rain coat. Im wondering if I need a rain coat that is lined? Thanks.
I’ve done both Paris and london in November and can say that it’s definitely quite rainy most of the time unless you somehow get lucky, my jacket is wind and water resistant and I didn’t really have any issues just travelling with that!
My carry on passes pretty much all requirements and I have never been stopped! I specifically got the smaller carry on out of two options from the brand to make sure I pass the stricter budget European airlines and have had 0 issues :)
While I agree (and that's how I travel) I like watching Danie's take on things. She helps me think about packing from a different perspective. I find it good to think outside (my) box, when it comes to packing. Also, she's been travelling in Europe for many years so I feel like she has credible input in terms of style
