Why hasnt the police chief been fired? She was the one who started the SCORPION UNIT. So how could she not know what was going on?

What a shameful bunch of savages that murdered Tyre Nichols. May they all go to hell. May ALL of these disgusting, sadistic idiots suffer the same pain, terror and anguish that Tyre suffered when he was beaten/killed. My heart aches for his family -- especially his mother. May Tyre rest in peace.

There are a group of “JUMP OUT BOYS” here in Springfield and they are basically the same way. My son was walking to my house and these “JUMP OUT BOYS” jump out on him and told him to STOP walking in the roadway. He could not walk on the sidewalk because it did not exist. The street he was walking on had no sidewalks. They just jumped out and one of them started to pet him down. With no reason given for the uncalled for stop as he was walking, they tried to search him until he said he put his hands in the air and asked them are they doing an illegal search of his person and he said simply you guys must be trying to make me rich. The harassment is real. The harassment needs to stop. We won’t take this lightly. My son has been to jail only once on an over nice day, because he forgot a court date for a traffic ticket. My son is not a thug. Even with thugs the police or jump out boys have no reason to harass Citizens. They are the thugs. They are the gang members.

Atlanta PD's Red Dog Unit previously led by now-Memphis Chief - it was dismantle for similar tactics. I think she was fired from that position. Maybe the chief didn't know. However, these units operating in the same way.

I don’t think the five police officers intended to murder anyone. I don’t think that they ever imagined or worried that Tyre was going to die from their actions! I think that this was an incident where five inexperienced and poorly trained lost their patience and control of their temper and committed police brutality. I think Tyre might’ve been drunk and/or taking other drugs in combination with liquor. If he was, I think the officers didn’t understand what was going through Tyre’s mind. Regardless, the behavior of the five cops was unwarranted. Their behavior in the videos reminded me of how the Nazi brown shirts behaved.

What did this latest cop do to get fired? I agree with the 5 that beat him during the 2nd stop being charged with murder. But this guy on the first stop was trying to cuff Tyre and he was resisting. He then broke loose and the taser missed the target and Tyre got away. This officer doesn't go to the 2nd location where the killing actually took place. So what did he do wrong? I don't believe he ever even struck Tyre when he was trying to cuff him.

They need to do more than relieving them of duty that's just a slap on the hand.

Need that same energy for the ER Doctor who got killed by the racist, while riding his bike.
