Possibly the greatest audition for some future production/directorial career I’ve ever seen. Kudos to the minds behind this, THIS is how you develop a creative cachet beyond the college track.
I don’t even want this play to be professionally done. The tension created by these kids, and with costumes and sets made from recycled materials and toys is what makes this so great.
... What I meant was, these kids are probably gonna be famous one day because of this play... Didn't mean to make that comment all political, so don't take it the wrong way.
Meh. This is like playing a cover song note for note and not making one change in your version. Just think of how much more impressive this would have been had it been original and unique.
So every time a school does a play, they're supposed to change something from the original? You don't spend too much time with directors, actors, and playwrights, do you.
