I went through all of this as a mother and its the most heart breaking experience of my life. All I can say for parents out there, never quit, never stop sending them messages. Even when they ask you not to. Never talk to them about being alienated, It toke me 7 years to decode this monster of situation and I finally have a good relationship with all my boys. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THEIR REJECTION PERSONAL. It is not the kids fault, they are victims. Take care of your self and practice self love. Surround yourself with people who love you.

This is living hell on earth. I’m a mom who just spent my second Christmas without my children. I’m just horrified that this is my life and I want so very badly to be able to be a mom again. Life just isn’t worthwhile without my children in it

I've been living with this for over 30 years. It only worsened when I finally lost my patience with the abuse & said something I regret, but I endured 40+ years living with abuse from his father, & my son continued his abuse after his narcissistic father died about 10 ago. I think it's hopeless. I discovered the term nearly 20 years ago, but never once has there been full context for this situation.

Please don’t stop putting out info on alienation!! I have followed you since I found you a year ago! Erased mom of twins!! The “regime” is strong! Every break through moment I have, gets turned around on me. My twins have been actually diagnosed with “severe parental alienation syndrome” courts have recognized it but do nothing. In the court order.. the supposed reunification therapist got it completely wrong!! Disgusted! Yep, exactly what you described!! Exactly what you described!! They say they have no memories of me.. my twins were so close to me.. so close!! No contact for a year… against a court order. Yep legal fees wiped me out. Tapped out! So relate to “Ron” the dad and the “monster”

I feel my daughter becoming a stranger it's destroying me

It’s frustrating and very lonely. I am constantly aware of every day that has been lost. At the beginning of our marriage I didn’t know what was going on. I felt it before I gradually saw it and confronted it.There was always an undercurrent of sabotage, division,deception and manipulation. I hate what I have been put through and shouldered the blame for. I am sure it was hell for our children . I kept trying to advocate for them,to ensure that each of us had a voice in that house only to have it all turned on me and be pushed so far from my son and daughter, mocked and blamed for the division in our home to my complete disbelief. I have to keep trusting that the truth will one day be laid bare and that healing can begin. God has sustained me through it and opened communication with one child who has gradually reopened his heart and mind toward me. That has given me hope that one day our family will be whole and finally have a chance to experience the love and closeness that we have been robbed of.

When you look at the internet it’s not even that rare.

Truth!!

I need help.... I'm going through this right now. Everything u are saying it's like u are looking into my life. How do I stop this... what can I say to my daughter? He started about 2 yrs ago. she's not completely gone but sooooo close...I keep reaching out one way or another that seems to keep her afoat persay... I feel so bad for her. I tell him what he's doing to her and she will resent him but he don't see , denies doing anything... I've heard it I felt her pulling away she's has told me the things he's done... signed Hopeless in Michigan

How can an alienated parent reach out to you? My daughter has rejected me for over 2 years. My son still goes back and forth every other week from my home to his dad's, but he is always angry with me, and everything I do validates what he "knows" to be true about me. How can I fix my relationships with my children?
