Just saw hin live in Virginia Beach. He sang a 22-song set, nonstop, with a 2-song encore. His wife Morgane (Who was the one responsible for encouraging her husband to begin promoting his voice instead of just writing songs) was on stage by his side singing background (The woman has the voice of an angel) as Chris is adamant that she does. When Chris introduced the band the loudest ovation, BY FAR, came when he introduced his wife........IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL. She is so humble, as is Chris, she turned red and I thought she was going to cry, but smiled that beautiful smile of hers instead. BTW, the show was sold out as many of his shows of late are. He did not sing "Death Row" which I believe to be his most powerful within his songlist less "Fire Away" (A get-your-attention song about mental issues) Great reaction, TY for reacting.

I know this is an old reaction, but just FYI he released this song in anticipation of a completed album, and it got no radio airplay so the album before Traveler never got released. It’s one of my favorite songs of his. Meanwhile his next album traveler has been on the top 100 country songs for five years!
