He is a real talent. He writes, sings, and plays that guitbox like a champ. He is a triple threat pulling off a hat trick with every song and live performance. With his wife accompanying him with such passion, joy, and admiration and musical talent herself this man has achieved a level of greatness that has yet to be seen before. He crosses lines that have too long separated art from audience. I dubbed that "Bluesgrasp" in a previous commentary because he clearly posseses Kentucky Bluegrass roots that ooze forth and grab the heart of a diehard Blues/R&B/Funk/Southern Rock/Popular/Gospel/list goes on and on... fanatic(yours truly) from Texas. This man(+Morgane) amazes listeners with his ability to capture your mind, ear, and heart with his words, voice, and instrumental abilities that are unmatched. He is an addiction that I Jones for at night and must get a C.S. fix at 4am to bed down my nerves back on or have an unsound-breakdown. America's got talent alright and it's names are Chris and Morgane Stapleton.

💯 Chris Stapleton has that bluesy, soulful "sauce" that nobody else sounds like! He's a helluva singer & can play that guitar, too! He seems so down to earth & unassuming! His style reaches into your heart & soul and makes you feel like you actually KNOW him! It still amazes me that he didn't perform for so many years! Check him out singing "Fool Me Again" on 01-06-06 during a songwriters cruise! He was only 26 & he & Al Anderson had just written the song the night before that video! It's mind-boggling that he didn't think he had a "singing voice" & was just writing songs for other artists! For a different "flavor," check out his acoustic performance of "Barely Alive"! He was still with The Jompson Brothers at the time. They only recorded one album while CS was with them. (I ordered it & am freaking out because it hasn't arrived yet!) Btw, you need to check out Chris Stapleton's "Cold" from his new album Starting Over! You'll be glad you did! The whole album is incredible! Peace, love and stay safe!🌹💜

Soul is the term you’re looking for

Stapleton delivers! This is obviously a promotional stop at a radio station. I wouldn`t imagine he is getting paid for this performance, but he gives a great performance not because he has to , but because he wants to. That and he stays humble through the end. Great reaction to a understated great performance.

He is as good or better live than the recordings.

No studio magic used to make Stapleton sound good, the live performances prove that. IMO he sounds better live. I recommend checking out The White Buffalo- The Whistler live at Guitar Center or Wish It Was True.
