Thank you Brethren for an amazing presentation. I always enjoy coming to this channel and coming away with a full cup. I love what was said about the doctrine and the precepts of men. This is an important point because personal opinions can quite easily become truth. I think it is important to always consider the source, and not to let other people's versions become personal versions. I know this is being challenged at this time. In and amongst all the voices and pulls vying for attention, it is a comfort to have the scriptures and voice of the Prophets anchor us to truth and clarity. Have a great week Brethren ❤️.

I love studying 📖 The Book Of Mormon and Finding other Scriptures to go with them,I have had lost memories of certain things and I need the Church App to study with, because I can't hold soo many things in my brain. Medication makes it difficult to study, and when videos came around it really is blessings you can't imagine how my cup runneth over so full of being greatful for all the different insights and help each one of you. Thank you both always for your time and helping others understand what each one of you know, giving us. 23:22 Yes,I watch more than once. 23:22

I appreciate your discussion of 2 Nephi 27. I am coming to think of Joseph Smith's process as "transcription" as much as "translation". And it IS a marvelous work and wonder.

Yes, the word translation has multiple meanings, including a transmitter.

Bro taylor why didnt joseph smith remember 2nd nephi 27 when martin harris is asking for the plates to show to others ?im just curious

Great question. Turns out that the small plates were the LAST portion of the Book of Mormon to be translated. So Joseph Smith wouldn't have even had access to those words until probably early June 1829. By this point Martin Harris was no longer the scribe, rather it was Oliver Cowdery.

I believe everybody needs to refresh their memory and reading the Book of Job. The Lord told Satan do whatever except don't take his life. The Lord will take His hand away from the people and let the consequence follow. It also reads that the Lord will stay His hand upon the righteous and protect them. People blame God for everything, even hungry children or starving Nations because of the gangsters taking the food. We send in food whenever we can't help because we are the Lord's hands. The Book of Mormon is the word of God just like the Bible, the Israelites had a hard time and the prophets tried to warn them but they would not listen . The Lord is merciful all the time with his Saints and sure bad things happen and the Lord's people will be tried. I believe if you could see many of the Miracles everyday, there would be no question the Lord protects His people and His way. Many people will never understand until they leave this world and feel the gracious love Our Savior has for each of us, it's beyond man's way of thinking. It is very hard for anyone to articulate the words to explain the love our God has for each of us, it's beyond words❤

Why do we seem to be so afraid to say that God would bring a “scourge across the land” in the last days. The scriptures tell us so. The Church website says curses are a divine act of Gods love.

My sense is that many of us are not willing to see the larger picture and so when we only focus on scourges across the land, we miss the bigger picture of God's plan. And by ignoring the bigger picture, we don't help people know the full truth.

Why is it so difficult for scholars in the church to just accept the words of Joseph Smith and he said that he translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God through the use of the Urim and Thummin. why should I believe you rather than believe him?

Not sure what you mean? My hope is that people would believe the word of God. My limited role is to try to encourage and help people understand and then believe the word of God.
