Well, it looks like there are wolves in sheeps clothing within the church, but that doesn't surprise me at all. It's more evidence of the truthfulness of the book of Mormon and the righteousness and obedience of that stalwart soul, Nephi! I am SO thankful for the book of Mormon and for my years of reading it! The so called wisdom of the world is foolishness to God. This is real! I'm thankful for the faith of righteous saints! God bless you!

Have been moved upon to understand 2nd Nephi 27: 16. It sums up the state of false academicians of our day: "..because of the glory of the world and to get gain will they say this, and not for the glory of God."

David Alexander you would also enjoy Scripture Central with Tyler and Taylor and also Hank and John Bytheway...there are so many Great podcasts to keep you alive in Christ but still that does not compensate for not pouring over the Scriptures yourself... keep up the Great Work and enjoy Idaho....

Thank you Hannah Stoddard and David Alexander for sharing a few of the ever changing tactics of the the adversary that you see. I appreciate your perspectives. I feel I am more aware of the pits and stumbling blocks placed before my family especially from with in! I love the Book of Mormon and the Prophets Mormon and Nephi. It hurts me to hear them belittled. 💔 I have a strong testimony that has weathered some storms, storms that have made me stronger but I need to continue to strengthen my testimony daily. My kids on the other hand could easily be gathered into these philosophys of men/woman. I appreciate knowing the adversaries tactics to I can "fortify" my family against them. We absolutely need to Read the Book of Mormon read the Scriptures daily and listen to and heed the invitations of our Prophet!

No one by themselves can flood the earth with The Book Of Mormon, we all have to work as one, like Jesus Christ and the Father are one, and like Jesus Christ prayed to the Father that all the Apostles and those who believe their words will be one.

Dave I just wrote Hannah the following... I love your courage, faith and sweet boldness in bearing testimony to the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. Truly Jesus Christ is the author behind those prophets who scribed His words upon the golden plates. Here is the short version of my conversion and testimony... I was raised a Lutheran by a Catholic father and Lutheran mother who rarely attended any church. They however made sure my brother, sister and I were sent to church. I'm forever grateful for parents who cared enough to see that I got some religious training in my youth. I'm grateful to the Lutheran church for introducing me to Jesus Christ the Son of God. By the prayer of faith and the witness of the Holy Ghost I learned as a child that Jesus is the true Son of God who lives today as a resurrected being in heaven with God the Father. I know that he atoned for the sins of all mankind on the cross and opened the way for the resurrection and salvation of all men. In my early teens I questioned my parents, church and leaders on their authority and knowledge. I rebelled against society and became a hippie looking for love in all the wrong places and doing all the wrong things. However, God in his great mercy chose to chasen and awaken me to the error of my ways. This happened at Woodstock 1969(when I was 19) during a near death experience while I was abusing my body with those bad things of the day. I found myself in hell tormented by all my sins and then reflected upon my childhood belief in Jesus Christ and called upon his name to save me. He heard my voice and delivered me back to life. I was born again and made a promise that day to change my life and go and do what the Lord wanted me to do. He led me by the Bible and the Holy Spirit over the next nine months to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where I was baptized in the Atlantic Ocean at Smith Point Fire Island, NY on June 27th 1970. I know by personal revelation and the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the Savior of all mankind and He has led me to the prophet Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon and the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which I know to be true by the power of the Holy Ghost. Please seek, read, ponder and pray concerning these things and you too can know they are true by the power of the Holy Ghost I pray in name of Jesus Christ, amen!

It's no longer logical to deny that the BOM is ancient scripture due to the plethora of evidence, so now the adversary will tear down the words inside. Same goal, new tactic.

Remember on Harold B. Lee's general conference talk in 1971, The Iron Rod, when he said that a liberal in the church doesn't have a testimony. When I hear Hannah Stoddard share quotes from these wolf-in-sheeps-clothing members i can't help but to remember Harold B. Lee's words.

The re interpretation of Nephi or any of the Book of mormon prophets appears to me as the philosophies of men mingled with scripture. These "teachers" are as Shakespeare described in Macbeth "idiots full of sound and fury signifying nothing". FOLLOW THE LIVING PROPHETS AND APOSTLES!! THIS IS WHY WE HAVE THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!

You are surely right on Hannah. We must be wise as a serpent but harmless as a dove.

People like the Bushman’s and the Givens are from the group that believe in a Teddy Bear Jesus. They ignore justice and push mercy. They are swayed by the teachings of this world, and shy away from truth and accountability because they believe that teaching true principles and requiring accountability is not Christlike love. It may make people feel uncomfortable or ashamed or guilty. That is the purpose of truth. Just like Nephi said: “And it came to pass that I said unto them that I knew that I had spoken hard things against the wicked, according to the truth; and the righteous have I justified, and testified that they should be lifted up at the last day; wherefore, the guilty taketh the truth to be hard, for it cutteth them to the very center.” Our job isn’t to speak softly and tiptoe around the truth or, as Mrs. Givens said, “…so once you put all of these things together THEN FOR ME ANYWAY it sort of broadens the whole horizon, it broadens the perspective and HELPS ME FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE …”. I submit that interpreting doctrinal truth so that one can feel more comfortable is not where our Heavenly Father stands on how we are to receive His word and obey it! No one and I repeat no one should listen to or purchase one sentence written by this apostate thinking. Listen to and follow our apostolic and prophetic leaders and study the doctrine of Christ as taught in the standard works. Confirm those things in prayer and don’t deviate from them and you will find joy and peace! This is my testimony!

ITS NOT just the Book of Mormon. its the Bible also. Many of The Born Again Evangelists Christians no longer believe what their Bibles say anymore Even if you speak the language of the Bible to them, many ignore it because they either hold onto the creeds or hold to what the teachers have been teaching them. As for inside the Church, Fault Finding the Past or Living Oracles of God is a big NOOBOO to make is what this practice is and it promotes Doubt and Unbelief and encourages a spirit of Murmuring and Rebellion Against Authorty of God which leads into one direction - Breaking covenants and leaving the covenant path and becoming like the Nephites of Old. These scholars, members of the church who write and preach this nonsense Saying Nephi and other prophets are just watered down misguided products of their own time and culture and not prophets of God is part of Wokeism Believe It NOT philosophy and its dangerous. They are NOT promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ but are promoting a spriit of murmuring and fault finding the leaders and the prophets disguising their fault finding to look like Gospel teaching.I am not fooled by these people who water down the prophets with their intellectual nonsense, Its not faith promoting, its coming from those who swallowed the dead rats. Eating them is like getting the hedge clippers and cutting into your own power cord.
