The 2016 Bucs were SO underrated. This was probably one of the best seasons for the Bucs since 2002 before Brady came to town.

This is a great way to start an NFL season with a past game b/w these same 2 teams

People thought this was gonna be the next great Qb battle

It was strange seeing tampa on a primetime game after all those years being trash.

This was the closest that we ever saw Tampa almost realize their potential under Jameis Winston. Solid group overall with a decent amount of talent and they were well in position to make the playoffs sitting at 8-5. This loss plus another failed comeback attempt the next week against New Orleans ended up crushing any playoff hopes that they may have had and they'd never get this close again... ... At least until Tom Brady showed up.

Even in 2016 Zeke was a better inside runner and he can still do that now

Even as an Eagles fan, the 2016 Cowboys were SO FUN to watch! Watching Zeke run was a blast and the whole offense was so smooth!

Wow, looking back on this 2016 Cowboys team, you can really see the old and new eras coming together. It feels so odd now to see Dak and Zeke on the same field as Witten, Dez, and Terrance WIlliams. This was supposed to be Romo's superteam, but when he got hurt, Dak took the starting job and never looked back. I still feel like Romo could've gotten them to the super bowl that year, but it was definitely a great learning experience for Dak.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers was member NFC Central Division from the 70s 80s and early 90s and Dallas Cowboys was member NFC East Division from the 70s 80s and early 90s 🏈

I wish the 2016 Bucs made the playoffs instead of the Lions. They would have at least put up a fight in Seattle.

2016 was the last time I remember being happy with this team. I remember being all typed of hype for them and started making bets for the next season and reading how we’re gonna go 13-3. All that until we ended up going 5-11 in back to back seasons then. I ended up losing $50 on the TNF game vs NE then losing another $50 next season one the MNF game vs PIT. Sad times. Thank god for Brady

Famous Jameis, so interception prone that even the Dallas defense, which was practically allergic to turnovers back then, and especially interceptions, got multiple picks in this game.

The first Bucs game i ever went to! Was bummed they couldn't get the W, but still ended up being a great game!

He Cowboys you didn’t have to franchise tag Dak, you could have signed Brady for 25$ million per year and he would have brought AB and Gronk and he would have drafted couple of OL and signed couple of Pass rushers and you would have won the SB. But cowboys are gonna cowboys

I absolutely hate same-place-finisher games👿👿👿👿. Having this game on Sunday night was extra retarded. Instead this game should've aired on Fox sports Southwest (Cowboys) and Fox sports Florida and Sun (buccaneers) it's devastating and embarrassing that this game happened in 2016. Same-place-finisher games should only be allowed to air on regional networks such as Bally sports, NBC sports regional networks, AT&T sportsnet. The NFL really needs to get rid of same-place-finisher games altogether or at the very least don't have them be nationally televised but have them be televised by regional
