I have 1 basx A3 and 2 a4s,and the avr is Denon X4 700h,so not much difference in power,but it makes a difference with separate amps,not just on power,the basx series are better than I expected for the price,I will change the A3, get the xpa dr3, this hobby is expensive, always wanting more

Great video! Been waiting for this one. I wish I was starting out in Home Theater now instead of 20 years ago, or even 5. It is something that can grow from a simple 5 ch to a full Atmos set up. A single purchase, with fantastic power, build, and looks that will anchor any system for years. Beats the heck out of the 2 - 5 ch amps and a 2 ch that I had in my 7.2.4 system!! At that price it is akin to stealing!! Very impressive! Way to go Summit HiFi!!!

Exactly, that is a very valid point. This amp can be purchased even if you don't have 11 channels...yet. We all know the upgrade bug will strike and most small home theaters will add channels over time. Why not buy this 11 channel amp, given the insane value, and you should be future proof.

@SpecOfTech AVR's, processors all change, upgrade quickly, as well as other sources. That Amplifer will never be obsolete.

I am so close to purchasing one. How hot does it run. I will put an Infinity Aircon T10 on it, regardless would like feedback on heat production with this amp. I appreciate your review here @SpecOfTech, I just wish there were more reviews out there, understanding this Amp was just released in Dec. For me this is a 'want' not a 'need'. The positive for me is I will be collapsing 3 current amps to one (this one) and in the process upping the L/C/R and surround/heights power output. Thank you for this review!

I just set up my Summit HiFi A11 and Anthem AVM 90 yesterday. Frankly this is my first go at separates coming from a Denon AVR4806. So far I’m liking it with the minimal testing I’ve been able to do. Looking forward to much more testing time and music and home theatre enjoyment!

@@candoslayer also monolith 11x is also class AB that is the closest price comparison. I wish they had it when I got my 7x . At your budget cross shop Parasound A31 and 2 x A52s depending on your wattage needs.

Let me know if the 7 channel for 2 Polk book shelf, 4 towers front and rear, 1 center along with the D6000 would be a strong set up?

I assume you already own the speakers, and they are from the same series, aka timbre matched? The 7 channel amp is a beast and would power pretty much any speaker. The Tonewinner D6000 is also a great subwoofer, I have tested them and they perform very well.

I have an anthem 1140 along with left / right paradigm founder 120s and a 90 c center channel. Would this A11 be a great addition or should I go with an anthem str or anthem power amp. My founder 120s have a built in 1,000 watt amp so technically I would just be using the amp for the tweeter and mid range. Or should I invest my money into something else to get better sound. I mainly listen to two channel music and watch movies and sports. Thanks much

Do you find the different power amps in this price point have much of a different sound? I have the anthem 325 so how would something like this compare for only running the LCR of course?.

Honestly the sound characteristics would most likely be VERY similar, as long as the amp aims for neutrality...which most do. Where you may hear a bit of difference is in the dynamics and clarity at louder volumes. I have not put it head to head with any other amps yet, so to be fair, that is just an assumption at this point.

What's your deal with Summit/ToneWinner? A reviewer that reviews a majority of products from "mainly" one brand and whose reviews of that brand are mostly positive, well ... that reviewer can't really be taken as "impartial". So, what is it: freebies?

Oh great, you again lmao. What is with you and not being able to grasp the answer I have already given to this question in a previous video? I know you watched that video too, because you had a smart ass comment on that one as well 😉. I review whatever gets sent to me for review. There are some companies willing to send more products for review than others. If that product is good, I will point that out. If I experience anything negative I will point that out too. You are the type of "person" that wouldn't be happy no matter what I say or do. I don't even know why you are even here anymore lol. But hey thanks for the view...just keep helping my algorithm. Some products I get to keep in the end and some need to be sent back. In the rare occasion that I do get to keep the product, there are NEVER any agreements, or discussions, beforehand about what I will or will not say about the product. Furthermore, I am usually informed I get to keep the product AFTER the review is complete, because it costs them money to ship the product back to themselves. In some cases it doesn't pay for them to pay the shipping back to themselves. If it is paid promotion, which means they sought me out and paid me to specifically promote their product, I will ALWAYS have the video marked as such. This answer took me far more time than you are worth. You are negative on all my videos, and aren't supportive of my work anyway. This is the last time I waste the energy answering you.
