Regarding the name of the people who climb to the top of mount Targon (around 30:00), I think they are still called "Aspects", even though they technically are just a vessel for the real "Aspect". However, I think Necrit mentioned in a recent video that when he went to Riot's HQ, the lore team was using the "Aspect" term as a meme because its definition is kind of blurry. We can definitely expect some rework on this part of the lore in the future.
This is something I think needs fixing. I always get tongue tied when talking about the aspects. Shurima = Ascended but there are aspects than there are ASPECTS! loll
About why the aspects are so invested in Runeterra I think the answer is that they crave devotion and faith, and it just happened that humans were the first ones they found to do this
Honestly a possibility. I dont think I have read anywhere where they definitively say why but it could be this. I hope its something more interesting though. Like devotion and faith increase their power or something specific to Runeterra.
True ice doesn't come from the void, it comes from Anivia. Anivia gave part of her heart to the yetis, making the yeti civilization the first iceborn. Corrupted true ice by the void becomes dark ice. Now the watchers gave Lissandra, Serylda and Avarosa, and all their followers, the power to become iceborn in exchange of their servitude in preparing the world for their arrival, as well as near-immortality which is why Lissandra is close to 15,000 years old
True Ice actually does hurt the Iceborn. What distinguishes the Iceborn from the normies is that the Iceborn don't die from touching True Ice, on top of their imperviousness to the cold
