Hi Loraine, I met mine in 2012 and he passed away in 2017. He taught me so many things and was so loving and selfless with me. I think many confuse the twin flame signs with narcissist traits because the context of each dynamic are really similar. The running and chasing phase runs close with bread crumbing. Someone only giving small bits of love or returning to get what they need out of you is not love. I myself have often thought the one of the purposes of the twin flame journey was recognize unloving behaviors in order to love and respect myself better, learn boundaries and appropriate behavior from people around me. There is too much literature about twin flames where I believe the information is beginning to border on gaslighting and causing a belief system that accepting the narcissistic abuse is a twin flame connection. That inter-relation and knowing the difference opened up a big fat wound and revealed a narcissistic relationship in my life. One that I did not see coming. So let me leave you with this… if you firmly believe you are a twin flame (and you are reading and taking this comment seriously) research the signs of a TF connection and compare with narcissistic abuse. Understand that your true TF will not intentionally hurt you, but a narcissist will. Write in a journal and document if you need to, it’s worth comparing and understanding the difference. Because had that similarity not been pointed out to me, I would have been stuck in a very unhealthy and vicious cycle without a means to get myself out. Best of luck on your souls journey. Hi. I really wanted to share my story too. Its been two years since I met my twinflame. Hi Lorraine. Thanks to your powerful content. So inspiring and educative. I believe I am in a TF connection looking at the signs you have mentioned. However, mine has been a bumpy ride and the ride makes me feel that I need to validate this connection with you. We met, fell in love and got married. However, we separated within 1 year of our marriage, We are still in touch and meet each other. Hi maam, i had a few questions to say about tf journey… i hope you reply this may be a little long but would appreciate your insights…My questions and feeling on all of this is to start with The 5D - people talk about the intense energy you feel and the depth of the connection.. what if i didn’t feel them.. maybe not even a what if i just okay and even if i did what if after knowing it was tf i made it up what if it was all just extreme physical infatuation and lust and attraction that could be mistook for 5D which clearly if i dont feel so was the former itself like i just dont relate when people say some magical connection and all that our relationship was anyways in the beginning not tf like was always more like a situationship which already maybe is unhealthy and toxic which is what this is ig too cause what 5D feelings ? 2 years and if i have none maybe they don’t exist at all right? 2024-The year he chose me.😂 We made our new family with his two and my two all living together happier than we thought possible.🤞🙏

So I struggled with whether my DM was real or a karmic, because he would say awful, hurtful things to me and call me names. So he automatically failed this first sign, right? WRONG. We had a unique connection where we met on a BDSM site. I was fresh off 8 years of celibacy, and I was exploring my sexuality for the first time in almost a decade. He identified as a Dom and I identified as a sub. I had NO idea what I was doing, so I tolerated his treatment of me for two reasons- 1. Can I ask you something Lorraine? I am an Astrologer, and recently discovered through studying a composite chart with my ex boyfriend that we were likely married in a past life. Everything you described here really rings true to that relationship, but I ended up leaving him (a mostly mutual agreement) because we simply wanted different things in life. He's all about his career, doesn't want kids, and wants to live in a place/climate that I essentially loathe, while I want nothing more than to have a family, and live a simple life in a very different part of the country. I say this respectfully but is it always necessary to be in union with your twin soul to achieve your spiritual purpose or growth in this lifetime? And is union only defined in the context of a traditional monogamous relationship? I’m the partner of someone who has a twin soul and they are in separation. However, I have encouraged him to keep the lines of communication open and to connect with her in other ways as he says he never wants to try a physical relationship with her again because of how he felt the last time they tried to come together physically. I respect their connection and try to help my partner to grow and evolve. We are non monogamous and allow each other to explore connections with others if they show up. So I’m wondering if those twin souls who are currently separated physically can still grow and evolve and live out their true purpose even if not in union.

We’ve only been together (not together) since November 2022, but it feels like years. I just realized about the not offending…neither of us have done it. I have told him on multiple occasions “I can’t stand you” but it’s in good fun. It’ll be when yet ANOTHER thing comes out that we have in common or we know what the other is going to say. The closest thing is recently I texted him “have I ever told you you’re a d***head? If not, let me tell you now” I felt he needed to hear that. And when I saw him, he confirmed he’d seen the text. Good. We weren’t hanging out that night, so we’ll discuss the “why’s” next time we’re together. But there was no weird or awkward moment..we hugged and kiss goodbye. I hate that I can’t hate him.
