SR Latch using NOR Gates | Tech Gurukul by Dinesh Arya

The simplest bistable device, therefore, is known as a set-reset, or S-R, latch. To create an S-R latch, we can wire two NOR gates in such a way that the output of one feeds back to the input of another, and vice versa, like this: The Q and not-Q outputs are supposed to be in opposite states.

It is SR latch so Set has higher priority when S and R is 1. So Q should be 1

thank you sir sir, I have doubt in invalid case(s=1,R=1,q=0,q'=0).after removing the input(s=0,R=0) why both previous output 0's not considered at same time? the delay of 2 not gates same then why the outputs are not feedback to input at same time?

Sir why the condition such that when Q=1 then it's set and Q=0 it's reset? Is it different when latch is analyzed using NAND and NOR gate?

When Q=1 is there, it is the set state. and Q=0 is reset state. Thats why taken as SR ff
