I do it the same way except I put the batting and backing sandwiched together and quilt as you go. Trim straight and ready for binding. Your runner is very pretty.
I love the table runner, what a great way to get rid of some of my scraps. I was so sorry to hear about Pineapple Fabrics, I used to love going to their warehouse sales but once they merged with Keepsake they were just not the same.
I use the same mathematical equation for my binding too!!! It works every time!!! Your table runners are beautiful! I think I need to do a project like that! I’ve been working on larger quilts and I think I need to do something easy to get motivated again! I’m definitely going to make one tomorrow!😊 I am always inspired by my RU-vid friends! Thanks for the inspiration!🥰
Love how you did that binding!! I'm going to save this video so the next time I go to do my binding I'm going to try it your way. It looks perfect. Love your table runners
So easy!! Overlap those tails. Measure a quarter inch on the bottom and mark it. Lay the top and mark that same quarter inch and cut. Top and bottom should overlap by 1 quarter inch (your seam allowance) sew those babies together and bam!! Perfect join.
