Hey friends! Come join me for all our home renovations! This home is from the early 1900's so it definitely had some work to do! :) It was not easy and we are so thankful for all the people who came to help us in those two weeks! My Husband and I bought our fist home 5 years ago its a newer home but we love it. we have a dog now you will see her in my vlogs I also have a RU-vid ministry we found a good church to go to not to far from us.

Beautiful home. I love all the wood trimmings and the wood floors. I don't like carpets so I would personally get rid of all the carpets and just do all wood or tiles floors. Maybe just do area rugs instead. Can't wait to see your home when it's finished.

I think your house looks wonderful and you did an amazing job on the walls and floors. I can't wait to see it when you're finished. I live in a house built in 1964 that was my parents. It's concrete block and is in excellent condition. They really took cre of it and I try to do the same. It's work being a home owner...a lot of responsibility and money over the years. You all will be just fine and God is there to help and protect you all the way! It's good you had so much help too!

Oh my goodness yes I am a home owner and currently tackling a huge renovation project by the grace of God! i am so proud of you guys doing your home renvo yourself. I am getting contractors in because I have a historic home that was built in 1918 and needs everythingggg walls, floors, lighting , bathroom and kitchen you name it. Everything will be renewed. But I pray it is worth it in the end and worth the costs and time. I too cannot wait to move in!! ❤❤❤

That floor wowza GORGEOUSso I’ve owned 3 houses over 23 years..this house definitely is NOT my favorite but God has really been dealing with my heart about letting go of material things to possess what’s coming in eternity so I’m gradually allowing myself to let God and stop trying to controlling everything and find beauty in the Nothingness He has brought us to because I know without a shadow of a doubt He brought us here xoxoxo

I love old houses! We bought a new house because at the time we were buying there wasn’t anything else on the market that we really wanted. I still want my old 2 story house! I’m thankful I have a nice home though. I can’t wait to see the rest of your house fully finished! Love it!

Hi Ashley! You and Johnny have made so much progress! It will be beautiful once everything is finished. Also thank you for being such an inspiration and keeping it real. I love watching your videos. 💙 My tip for owning a new home...anything can be painted. Lol. When my husband and I moved into our first home the countertops were a very old dark green color. We ended up doing a diy paint for the counters. RU-vid has lots of videos on this and was way more affordable than replacing the whole countertop. Also our bathroom floor was sea foam green and black tile. We did a peel and stick laminate flooring in gray which definitely helped to update the look. Hope these tips can help you! 😊

My husband and I also bought a house that needed a bunch of work. It was a foreclosure so it was in very rough condition. We did all the repairs we could and hired a contractor to redo the kitchen and bathroom. Tons of work, kudos to you all. I know how hard all that is! Sanding especially 🥲 bane of my existence 😅
