French wingsuit flyers recently completed an unbelievable stunt following a B.A.S.E. jump from the top of the Jungfrau mountain in Switzerland. As part of their project A Door in the Sky, which they had spent several months training for by completing more than 100 test flights in Empuriabrava in Spain, the duo B.A.S.E jumped from the top of the Jungfrau, one of Europe’s highest mountains, and flew into a Pilatus Porter light aircraft in mid-air. Now that's a different way to catch a flight.

A stunt that everyone clearly thought was impossible in the movies, but actually became a reality. Its unreal to see, really this was pretty amazing. Props to everyone who was involved in that, and most importantly the 2 flyers, you guys achieved something that was perceived as not possible. Like who would of thought lol. Bravo bravo!

also I seriously doubt the pilot was any less skilled then the jumpers themselves. and in any case the plane can just speed up if they get close, or just simply veer away, its easier to do with a plane than with those wingsuits.

Wow amazing!! I know this region like the back of my hand. They must have done this a few weeks or even longer ago as it’s currently deep in winter snow. They have leapt from the Wengen Jungfrau ridge 4000 meters up, down into the Lauterbrunnen valley. The approach for the plane is pretty hairy. It’s nice and clear up the valley to Interlaken but dropping into it at that end is not a job for rookie pilots. Amazing work to all involved. Sadly when I was there in 2016 two wing suit base jumpers lost their lives. It’s a dangerous area

Nothing mysterious... you just visualize the jump and what needs to be done to make it successful. If your mind is racing / scatterbrained / sensory overload then you need to hike back down or call the helicopter to come get you so you can figure out what's missing from your toolbox and why you're feeling unprepared.

Yesterday night I watched "James Bond Golden Eye", when during the opening sequence a plane fell off the runway down a mountain cliff. And since it's James Bond, he jumps right behind it, in an attempt to enter the plane mid air. What a BS I thought... so unrealistic!! Now one day later I watch THIS!!! Not so unrealistic after all... My hat's off to the two base-jumpers
