It is real, the Jedi, the Sith, the force, it is true... All of it. Earth just happens to be located somewhere in the unknown regions and we haven't been discovered yet... haha
that's what they are paid for, to be kind and interact with visitors, take your kids to Disney parks and you'll see the actors are fine to spend some minutes with them
The best part is that the child is naturally interacting and not being forced/dragged over to meet the character. I’ve seen kids who are absolutely petrified but the parent forces it for the sake of some photographs. Adelynn is genuinely enthusiastic and so happy to meet Rey, and that energy definitely helps the performer do her job.
You’re so right. If my little was so out going and enthusiastic there no way the world would be seeing these videos. She’s so good just being herself every time she goes to meet one of the characters it’s a candid experienced. Which is so fun to watch because I never know what she’s gonna say hence how we got in this position in the first place. 💩s lol
Honestly there's a big part of me that wishes I could have that innocence that ability to just believe. I am weirdly so jealous of children for that because I can't imagine something so magical.
Agreed. I was a mascot for an SEC college football team. Parents would shove their horrified child into my arms, even if the kid was crying due to terror. Due to limited visibility from my mask I was terrified and so was the kid--they shoved against my torso to try and scramble out of my arms, while I couldn't see the parents at all due to the visibility of my mask/helmet and tried to keep a hold on them so they wouldn't tumble out of my arms. At least 25% of parents would walk off just to get a photo while their kid was screaming. It was so weird to me.
@@Flufferz626 I understand most D1 schools and maybe beyond grant scholarships to you guys and it is actually very competitive as much as it is secretive. My brother played D-end for Michigan State for 5-years and as far as I know, never met the mascots out of costume or ever knew who the guy was.
That child IS this experience. We lose that simple faith that kids have. Learning back am I grin. I'd love a job like that. I was an assistant to a magician with my wife (sworn to secrecy but open to bribery with starbucks. Evil I am. Grin. Anyway my wife's late uncle was an volunteer sheriff and a professional clown. So my wife and I were in a parade in full makeup and clown costume. I'd go up to people with my puppet skunk and watch them instantly become kids. It was wonderful. So was helping with the magic. This video is great. Never grow up all the way. It's a trap! 😁
💯% SPOT-ON Response!! THIS IS STILL Walt's House & Lucas/Abrahams Characters Are Just Part Of It... But THIS Cast Member Deserves A 🏅 For Sheer Performance🎭
The best thing is that the actress is genuinely enthusiastic about meeting Adelynn and instead of being forced to and also Adelynn is so nice to all the actors/actresses she earns a lightsaber
Is someone still cosplaying when they’re being employed by the owner of the character to make official appearances dressed as the character in question? At some point you have to draw the line because this professional actor is not in “costume play”.
I love how gentle natured and authentic this actress is with her I could tell that the actress was having to use every bit of will power to keep a straight face
Building a Star Wars superfan from a very young age. I predict in 20 years this little girl will be working in the movie industry on the new Star Wars films.
@@yyc_adam4884 That is pretty awesome, but sadly I highly doubt I will ever get to meet her since there is no way on this planet I would ever get to go to Disneyland.
When you look in the eyes of that child, her Joy, laughter, can anyone out there tell me, when she Looks back in 20 xears or so and has watched all the episodes. Will she look at the "negatives" of The rise of Skywalker and last jedi, or will she remember These memories and love the movies also....Sometimes it is hard to see the good Things These movies bring to us, even when they are Right in front of us or so obvious to see….sometimes we adults should try to see Things through the eyes of a child. Remember, the past, don´t clinge or hang on to it forever….Merry Christmas to you all reading this
Having been a walk around character (Sportscus) at a theme park here in Virginia, I can say that this woman playing Rey is outstanding. She spent so much time giving this little girl a lasting memory. Not all character actors are this kind.
Seeing this actress interacting with Adelyn is so so heartwarming. Of course she signed a contract etc. but you can see how genuinely lovely she is. And Adelyn is a diamond too! Such a wonderful soul
That actress/performer is awesome~! She gave kindness, attention and friendship to this sweet little girl. Such a gem, I truly hope those at Disney appreciate such a wonderful performer with such heart. :)
The actress who plays Rey is amazing. I feel like she really sets the standard for what a role model should be. Not just for girls, but boys as well. This is version of Rey that Star Wars deserves.
Forget the park, this is the main attraction. I want to go here just so i can witness this adorable interaction and thank this Rey for doing such a great job
Hahahahaha ha dude you’re so lucky to have an amazing daughter like her she is adorable Thankyou it really made my day and Rae looks amazing and plays the role incredible she is wonderful to your daughter aswell spends some good time with just her
You know... I'm not a fan of the prequels or the sequels. And yet I have a brother who grew up in the late 90's, and when he was this girl's age if he had the chance to walk around and have a conversation with Obi-Wan or Anakin... or if I could've done the same with Luke? Amazing. This little girl is going to cherish this memory. That makes it all worthwhile.
Those cast members are awesome for taking time with this little girl! Understandably, she couldn't do this when the park is jammed. Kudos Disney! More droids and allow more cosplay in Battu!
Hello. If you wanna see more of our latest videos and more Rey and Adelynn we moved our content to youtube.com/@BSMAdventures Hope you continue to see how little addy has grown and continued to enjoy StarWars and Disneyland. Thanks Nate
Love watching talented actors improvise and work in the lanes. This approach to acting is so often underappreciated. It's very difficult to stay in character no matter what your audience throws at you. Especially when they're this tiny and adorable. I would not be surprised if this same actress could pull off any of the Disney princesses thrown at her with equal style and grace. I mean okay, the costume does the heavy lifting perhaps, but what sells the illusion is the talent herself.
Ok so you got to sub our new channel for this very reason you mentioned. We just saw Ariel a few weeks ago and she was oddly familiar “😉😉” and knew Adelynn instantly to say the least. I got 2 videos qued up before that video but then it will be posted. You’ll greatly appreciate it. New channel is “baby swimmer Maxwell adventures “
Years ago, Roger Rabbit took time with our 18 month old son. Granted he was adorable. Roger played with him for five or ten minutes. We have never forgotten it. He is 28 now, and teaches junior high, but his mom and I still have a vivid memory of it.
ReyofLight13 You will love this! Guess what she wants to be for Halloween. And we’re going to be there again for a week starting Sunday the 13th. And I bought a new microphone for catching much better audio for character exchanges like this one. Adelynn’s been really excited to see Rey again! Maybe we’ll see you? 😄

I don’t know why!? Or how!?!? But your video appeared in my YT recommendations and so far.... IT HASNT DISAPPOINTED ME AT ALL!!!!! Your daughter is so awesome and so cute!!!! The Force is strong with her!!! May the Force be with you and your Family!! ❤️❤️
Can you imagine the job security this Rey actor has? Cus there's no way whoever is in the backup spot on the roster resembles the real Rey as much as she does!
"Do you wanna look for Kylo Ren with me?" Now all I can imagine is Rey running up to Kylo with a different child each time and being "Kylo look!" and he's like "Goddammit Rey not again"
She is such a genuine and kind little girl, they've developed quite a friendship. This makes me so happy, funny how something so simple can remind people of how awesome life is.
With everything that has happened with Covid, I really hope the cast member playing Rey is still employed, and if not with Disney, I hope she gets a chance to see Adelynn outside the walls of Disney one day. You can see what an impact she has really made with this young child. That would be a fun reunion.
I'm a 62yr old man, and even I got joyously lost in this exchange. I think I was fan-girling more than Adelynn was. Mega points to 'Rey' who was so generous and kind with her time and interest. She actually reminded me of Daisy Ridley, but she also reminded me of Millie Alcock from 'House of the Dragon'. Anyway, I like to think Adelynn will always believe she really met Rey. Adelynn's Dad is a superstar, too. What incredible memories he helped his daughter create. Amazing
I appreciate the compliments. Adelynn still loves Rey and it’s one of the things we do on a per visit stop to Batuu. Rey usually always remembers Adelynn to this day.
I’ll drop my pre scripted link below BrookTu. If you wanna see more of our latest videos and more Rey and Adelynn we moved our content to youtube.com/@BSMAdventures Hope you continue to see how little addy has grown and continued to enjoy StarWars and Disneyland. Thanks Nate
Thank you so much there are times where I lose it with her because she really does test me! But I will also own my stuff. If I step out of line instead of step back. And I even apologized her for losing my temper sometimes(were all human). It’s a good balance and In the end she really is an amazing kid and we have so much fun together and everything we do is built on love! And that is the most valuable right there!
as much as i despise the character that this young lady is portraying ... i think she is an amazing person ... to take the time to spend with this little girl ... man it takes adorable to a whole new level ... the young lady is fantastic at her job, she definitely deserves a praise ...
They have to deal with it like "there are no movies". They are the" real" charakter see on screen and the park is "the real world" d her life just happed to be "magically" famliar to us. Their stories, thats the movie, their home is the park.... it has to be the perfect illusion. look alike, sound alike, act alike. In this case, she must always be Rey, (answer as Rey) the whole day., nomatter what the guest say or call her.
They could brush it off as a "recording" of their adventure, "security footage", or "Jedi Holicrons"... depending on what character it is and how old the guest is...
@@wonderlandisalanguage9646 it wasn't, I was just wondering since all the characters are acting as if they really are the people from star wars, what do they say to people when someone asks them about their movies
