2 Year Update on Engwe EP 2 Pro E Bike

Yah there great bikes ,Unfortunately yesterday while I was in croydon a chap on an mobility scooter who was driving like a fool in front of me ,so I decided to get away from him and ended up in front of him, as I was gently going down the High Street a woman walked in front of me on her phone like they do, so I gently braked and was bumped on my back wheel by this guy who was travelling way to close, so I told him he needs to learn how to drive in not so many words, and he tried to offer me out, so I just drove off, further down I parked up did some shopping came out got on my bike , pressed start and Error 22 came up on the screen, so looked it up on my phone (Throttle malfunction) and found the wires had been ripped out, it dose not take much to work out who it was, what sad people we have in the world 😀

@@burakarc698 I get around 55 miles. Pro 2 has the 12 amp battery.

@@burakarc698 Hi mate, well in the warmer weather on average riding between 16-20 mph this Inc up steep hills and in high winds I get 30 - 32 miles on a full charge, but in say - 2 deg I get more like 26 miles , but as you will see in a future video U am going to hopefully 😉 fix that with upgrade lol, best regards Barry

@@burakarc698 It drives like a dream! I charged it to full and drove 30 km in bad weather (Raining) and arrived home and it's still on full battery. Go for it brother.

Yah I have seen that bike nice, they are very much same as each other, I'm sorting out a bigger Battery pack for mine , just waiting for Battery's to come, also a Motorcycle type seat, I will do a Video showing what I'm doing to it, I think your like it maybe 😀 I'm looking forward to doing mods to it , So keep keep an Eye out for the video, also I thought about Saddle Bags not sure yet trying not bog it down too much, will have a think , Thanks for your input.

What’s the problem if you ride it in the rain? Does it damage the bike ?

I bought second hand this ebike older version with 12.8ah battery with 7000km on it and i do delivery with it and i do 60-70km every day with 1 bar left over 2 months now... i never really tested to fully drain battery, i drive really economic... i disconnected assist magnet wire from controller because it is to aggressive for my taste and annoying kicking acceleration every time i spin pedal so now i have full control of motor and assist my self with throttle while pedaling and i really "feel" when motor struggle i help it with pedaling... i don''t go over 25km/h that is the key for more range... slower you go, more you can get... but if you want to drive only on throttle with hard acceleration don't expect more then 25-35km range... idk this 13ah upgraded version can go maybe 10+ km...

Hi Glad your thinking of getting the EP-2 pro but my Bike will do an average range of 30 - 32 miles in good weather that's Inc up steep hills and in high winds and my bike has a 13 amh Battery came as STD, and that is riding at speeds of 16 - 20 miles mph, I suggest you get a bigger Battery with your EP-2 pro if you cab, also riding around at peddle assist 5 which is around 30 mph dose not really get you there that much faster, but dose use a lot more Battery and that's on any bike, but yes would make a good delivery Bike.

Over 2,300 miles And it's been a super reliable machine, have only just changed the break pads, and 2 new motor cycle tires 4 ply rubber much more stable, but the Battery is giving me just over 80-85% charge now ,but the weather has been cold, so will see what it's like in summer months will do a range Video .

The reason you are seeing a drop in battery performance is mostly due to the crap charger that comes with the bike. With a smart charger, you can stop the charge at any predetermined voltage, so you're not continually stressing the battery charge after charge. Don't charge past 85% or deplete past 20% capacity; you can triple the number of possible recharge cycles. I'd like to see what kind of range you can get, do you pedal as you ride or just pick a gear and make the hub motor do the work? Ride safe.

The Engwe ep-2 pro I have has a 750 watt motor but you can limit the power output using the settings in the on board computer, there are many settings you can adjust most things in the on board Computer, hope this helps😊

@@videomentaryproductionschannel Thank you so much for the reply , I was trying to buy this e bike but I could see 2 versions EU version with 250 w and international version 750 w , I have seen that it's illegal to have a 750 w ebike in UK !! That's y I'm confused in buying which one !

​@sadiqbashao7 Well , I have had this Bike for nearly 3 years now and have not has a problem with the police, in fact have often had chats with police officers because they like the bike , they ask me about the power of the motor, and I'm truthful, but do tell them it's set to not go over 15 mph and they are happy with that so I have not had a problem in England myself, if you drive sensible and don't go through Red lights or drive like a fool, you won't have a problem, hope this helps
