Sadly the law does not allow these in the UK where this ad was filmed. They are becoming more common in the UK but all buyers should go in knowing that police in the UK have the power to seize these from anyone riding one anywhere other than on private land with the permission of the landowner. Happily it seems they rarely do, but there are plenty of other electric-assisted bicycles that are legal to use on the roads, because they only supply electric drive during pedaling, they won't supply electrical assistance above 15.5mph, and their motor is 250W or less.

Indeed, as covered in the video. It's important to know the laws. In the UK and EU, there is the 250W model.
