Some of the liquids that can be replicated with this method:
Room temp:
Resin
Polluted Water (must remove PO2)
Salt water
Brine
Hot:
390C Crude Oil (Petroleum on top)
300C Petroleum (Sulfur on top)
300C Sucrose (Sulfur on top)
500C Nuclear Waste (Petroleum on top)
Very hot: (1460C, Molten Salt on top)
Lead, Aluminum, Copper, Gold, Uranium, Steel, Glass, Magma
*Until gas state is added
1460C Molten Salt (Sucrose* on top)
Cryo:
-95C Ethanol (Liquid Chlorine or CO2 on top) (easy)
-52C CO2 (Liquid Chlorine on top) (medium)
-184C Methane (Liquid Oxygen on top) (hard)
Ludicrous:
430C Super Coolant (Petroleum on top)
Heat steam and dump excess to space
-255C Super Coolant (Liquid Hydrogen on top)
Cool other stuff and dump excess to space

I've resenly used a similar method to replicate some oil (the 100 kg you find in a ruin), and then some petroleum (didn't need to refine more than 100 kg) - endless free plastic at cycle 30 🥳

I think I was able to duplicate liquid aluminum using liquid salt on top. I didn't test it for long or check any numbers, but it was the same visual mechanic.

This setup can literally be combined with your ceramic factory, igneous to sand rock crushers, and a LOX chamber to be self-sufficient and self-contained, putting out a net of something like 16 KWatt

Wish we could duplicate liquid chlorine, that would be cool. Duplicate petroleum, the petroleum generator will create polluted water. Duplicate brine, use desalinator to get salt, and rock crusher to get sand, infinite filtration medium for deodorizer.

UPDATE: tested with Resin, works, but need to throttle flow rate because of high viscosity. Thank you everyone for the input! I completely forgot about Molten Salt. Added the following to the list of liquids that can be replicated at 1460C, using Molten Salt as a top liquid: Lead, Aluminum, Copper, Gold, Uranium, Steel, Glass, Magma.

@@herrysl1253 For Polluted Water you need a space for the polluted oxygen to go above the output pipe. I usually have an airflow tile on top and then a regular tile on top. As the P Water is pumped in, it'll push the P Oxygen into the airflow tile (a kind of infinite gas storage). Make sure there is no other gas at the pipe exit, it'll prevent the gas from pushing correctly.

Hey GreezyHammer while I was doing materials science research yesterday I found out that sucrose don't gassify even at 2000°C. So I used 2kg of liquid sucrose to form the top layer to duplicate liquid aluminium and copper.

Good point, sucrose doesn't have a gas state added yet, so we can take advantage of this. Would probably make sense to gassify to ethanol

I see you've gone for the "dump it all" method for cryogenic natural gas generators. I've built two variants of liquid methane burning generator blocks myself, one fully cryogenic that runs the generators at -130°, and one that pre-heats the natural gas before burning it in a fairly normal 200° steam room. While the cryogenic system definitely aces the cool factor, it requires a fair amount of piping to handle the cold co2, and also produces pwater at the base temperature of 70°. I find that unless you specifically need pwater, it's easier to let it boil directly out of the generators and save some gas piping. I generally avoided freezing the pwater, as cold pwater has very few uses, and would cost a large amount of your cooling capacity, so it's interesting to see you use a solid/liquid pwater output here.
