Hi Sebastian, looks like a great collection, definitely, it’s what I’m looking for the summer , I only wish that the house of Amouage would create a citrusy fragrance especially from country that has high heat weather
If you like Mandarine Basalic, you would love Bergamote Callabria. It is absolutely beautiful with the bergamot prominent but some other juicy citruses as well. It is quite refreshing on a hot day. Herba Fresca is also terrific with a strong mint/herbal note as well as the citrus. Can't go wrong with the Aqua Allegoria line.
Mandarino di amalfi is my favourite summer frag! Absolutely in love with it. If someone made an amped up version of this exact scent I’d be a lifetime buyer 😀
I have a decant of Armani Orangerie Venise that I bought recently. It's nice , but , I find it a little too masculine for me . I'm going to have to try that VC&A Neroli Amara . It sounds lovely . Thank you for your reviews .
Great picks, Sebastian. Tygar is one of my favorites, glad to see it being mentioned. Have you by any chance tried the fragrances from Di Ser? I haven’t tried them myself yet, but heard good things in the few reviews I could find out there. They seem to have many many fresh ones, e.g. Kurokami, Tsuki, Akanesasu, etc. Would be awesome to hear your thoughts!
Apart from the great video as always u should also make a tee having the saying- 'all that good stuff' since u hv been saying it a lot for quite some time now. :D
I just order my bottle of Bohemian Lime! For summer I 'm wearing SALADO from Carner Barcelona, WetStone from Amoroud, TF Oud Minetale and Ramon Monegal IBIZA La isla BLanca. Thanks Sebastian!
Your detail is top notch as always. Thanks so much and have a good 4th. It took me a while but finally was able to get ahold of the Armani Prive...my favorite line and one of my best summer scents, but today I am trying out a sample of TF Oud Minerale.
Happy 4th J Sebastian! This is a nice list, it's nice that you show us some different fragrances than the "usual suspects" I've recently discovered Poivre Pomelo from Atelier Materi and also 1873 from Histoires de Parfums and like them a lot. I looked up cedro and it's got two meanings, as you said "Citron" and also "cedar" 😁
Wonderful video, Sebastian! I started watching your videos a couple years ago and it's inspired me to get involved with fragrances and learn about them. I especially love citruses in the summer (really all year round)! Is strawberry ever a note in fragrances? It seems like something fun to wear in the summer🤗
Happy Fourth of July Sebastian. Great video, great selection. Penhaligon's options are somthing I'll be wearing (love petitgrain) along with Tom Ford's Acqua line. Orangerie Venise is another awesome fragrance.
Hey Sebastian love the vid. Just wondering if you have gotten your nose on either Tom Fords Venetian Bergamot or DG Velvet Bergamot. I love citrus frags but I cant find to much info on these or samples. Also know any lemony or orange gourmand Frags to check out? Thank you!
Hi Sebastian! I’ve been wearing nishane colognisé for the summer, which I love, but it’s not very long lasting. Do you have any recommendations for a good alternative that stays on longer?
Thanks Sebastian. Question: I'm curious about your two or three top citrus-petigraine fragrances including other years. I recently discovered, thanks to you, that I love Jacque Fath Green Water despite its sillage and I now have Hermes eau d'orange verte concentre, which I love, too. So, I'm on the hunt for another lovely citrus-petigraine combo. Any recommendations that I shouldn't miss? Thank you so much!
I wear Cousin Flora all the time! The rose note in the drydown really reminds me of the one used in the Declaration line from Cartier. Add some ambroxan and sweetness and there you have it. Wish that Cousin Matthew opening would stick around though. AdP Colonia FTW! Happy Independence day Sebastian!
i noticed that you referred to Atelier Des Ors as Atelier Cologne multiple times. other than that love the list. went out today and bought Orangerie venise and it’s fantastic!
Fantastic choices!!!I do like citruses at summer but we do not get enough hot days here in Belgium to use such fragrances a lot .😆I am really curious about Van Cleef & Arpels one! Someone told me that it smells like Fleur Narcotique by Ex Nihilo.☺️
I keep coming back to Atelier Colgone Cedre Atlas because of the green and hints of sweetness. What do you think about this being a summer scent? Would it work for Christmas cause of the tree smell?
Too weeks ago a bought: This Is not a blue bottle 1.6 and Mandarin & Basil - for such hot summer as we have here, in Italy, I think these two are perfect ones.
What is the note in Pomelo Paradis that smells exactly like Light Blue? Each of these I Almost like but ultimately I don’t like the sort of candied lemon in it. It doesn’t smell fresh to me and it bothers my nose. I do love grapefruit and lemon normally.
Aqua di Parma Colonia is one I'd like to try when it gets really hot. Sebastian, you made a comment that might be worth a video topic: skin types, and how they interact with fragrances. This I find very interesting, and just as you did here, I think all fragrance reviewers ought to disclaim what type of skin they have, since that might help viewers understand how the fragrance gets perceived by the reviewer on skin.
What do you think of Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme? I think you reviewed the Or Encens flanker but not the original. I picked up an onsale 40 ml from Macys online for $25 last month. It was a few bucks cheaper at the discounters but if it's between a discounter or Macy's for nearly the same price, you know where I'm ordering from! It's a real nice citrus that holds up to summer heat. My favorite aquatic is still Man Eau Fraiche, but L'eau d 'Issey is a decent buy. I have to wear it about 10 more times to see if it's worth a larger bottle purchase from Fragnet.
Unfortunately, none of these perfumes has arrived Cairo yet! .. so b ecause I trust so much in your taste, I need your advice sir please .. Which is better from the house of CH.. the old Herrera for men 1991 or Chic for men 2003? .. Especially as u Know that the old notes have changed these days !.. Many thanks Mina Fouad Cairo, Egypt ..
I really love citrus fragrances. They uplift me, they make me feel comfortable. They are my kind of style . I find them very elegant, you can't go wrong with them 🥰
Colognes from Aqua Allegoria smell synthetic to me. I wish they compose them based on natural components, because Lemon Verde and Mandarine Basilic would become my favorite. Still solid fragrances, but not great.
No Profumum Roma or Nishane Ambra Calabria ??? I thought you would include these two beast mode citrus fragrances. Oh well nice to see some new options:)))
So, I went out and picked up a travel spray of Guerlain’s Mandarine Basilic, and I love it until the dry down, where the basil smells like pizza to me. 😂 Fragrance is funny that way!
Wow I barely can smell the basil- even in the drydown! I am going to test it because I own it. bc Everyone raves about Orange Sanguine though and I think this one is so much better- OS has a weird drydown.
I am trying to find a couple of citrus fragrances with staying Power muglers colonge stays well on skin but they mostly disappear quickly sometimes within the hour any ideas. Anybody ?
Hey Sebastian,,, I love cumin fragrances just like you but is the Hermes eau de hermes that you were talking about in another video masculine cause I found it in the women fragrances in their official website although in the description they say it's for women and men
Cumin is such a masculine smell so I'd say get a sample and test it out or sample in store. For me it's quite unisex and there are others on my list that I featured that smell similar which for sure are targeted unisex but I feel like a lot of Hermes are unisex to begin with. Keep me posted. You watched this video correct? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Dy1zVTqmUsI.html
Great video, thanks for made something like that, but two question! First, can here be a one place for any NISHANE scent?! Second, is XERJOF “The Best” of all, or is same in rank with BVLGARI, Aqua di Parma or ARMANI?!
Excuse me but regarding the meaning of the word cedro here, you are wrong. Cedro de Diamante refers to an Italian lemon that is different from ordinary. The Italian word cedro indicates two completely different plants: The evergreen conifer, which we all know, and the Citrus medica, a great citrus fruit. The word cedro comes from the Greek and probably means perfumed, with which we would have the justification of the name common to both plants, both fragrances, although the first to wood and the second to citrus. But often these two trees have been confused; For example, in some paintings of biblical stories and saints, cedars have been mistakenly painted as small citrus trees, when the Bible referred to the conifer. Nothing is wasted from the cedro. As in the case of limone pane, albedo in citrus cedar is very juicy and is used in salads, but the flavor is very different from lemon. The oil is extracted from its shell, it is also glazed for confectionery. Meat and fish are marinated with its juice; Liquors and a very particular drink are also made: cedrata.
Hi Sebastian, great fresh video .. just to mention .. it is Atelier des Ors - Pomelo Paradiso .. Atelier Cologne has Pomelo Paradis of as a fragrance . you have so much graet stuff and you are telling me those through the lens , and with just a little imagination I get there - thanx :)
