Thanks so much! Straight to the point and no extra fluff! I’m a gig worker full time going on about a month and I really want to scale this business In my Toyota Corolla until I can scale to a cargo or box truck. Uber eats and DoorDash just isn’t enough but I am blessed and grateful to have the opportunity to do it cus it could be worse. God bless all 🙏
First gig video I ever watched fully without skipping. I've watched so many but this video stands out. Straight to the point, no added gibberish & stories. Thank you 😊
Yeah, if it wasn't for my gig apps side hustles, I would in really bad shape, my company gives 1% annual raises, but my bills have gone up by hundreds of dollars a month. Last month I was sick, and my car cost me a lot of money to get fixed. So, the month of May is just straight hustling, my coworker as well. He took a 2 month break from delivering because he thought he had enough money saved until his debit card was decline for not enough money. America is vicious, we are working our lives away just to stay afloat.
Great video Toya!! Local delivery apps are a huge shout out! Harder to get onboarded because of stricter requirements but I just joined a local one that has been clutch. I have to drive 25 min away but have been able to stay busy and average $35-$40 an hour and get reached out to directly by dispatch for larger order deliveries paying $50+. There's definitely enough to go around so all of us can eat 🙌🏻
Thanks for sharing. I am a part-time package handler and do gig work to fill in the rest of my day and weekends. So far UE, DD, and Roadie for me has been good for me since beginning 3 months ago. I'll check these others out. Just subscribed! Let's get this money!
Wow, this is a whole game changer. Thank you so much for this video I live in Massachusetts I am going to download these apps and hopefully they are in my area. I have a lot of apps and I thought that was it lol I’ve lost a couple sadness to say I was getting bored because some of them are not making enough but now after your video, I can’t thank you enough. About to start downloading. ❤
I know what you mean about Zifty. The orders start low and near clear cross town. It's gonna take you about an hour to get to the location, so the pay is not worth.
Love your video about the apps. Can you make a video about a typical day making your runs? What time do you recommend to start deliveries? best practices advise for a newbie
Since almost 15 days ago, I have tried to apply to some of the apps that she mentions in her video. But also, she mentioned some that gave me access to be not waitlisted, but waiting under review. Thank you so much for that. I was getting so frustrated.
Just dress casual, don't look bummy or come in with your PJs lol. As far as equipment yes I highly recommend a wagon or cart because you will have quite a bit of food to transport. I do have a link to the wagon I use in the description
Great video I dont know how to gage if Im doing good or not I do Uber only and If I do 12hrs I make $300+, the only reason Im looking into other gigs cuz my niece has a SORRY TRIFLING MOMMA so she is staying with me now which is affecting my money, so Im looking into WFHome job/gigs & gigs I can take her w/ me for a few hours like Uber Eats or DD for day time & continue Uber @ nights like I was, but I cant do 12 hrs cuz I have to wait till someone comes home to go out at night.....Is $ 300+ for 12hrs good?
Hey Mrs. Toya, I have a question about deliverthat. I recently signed up, but it says as a same day delivery driver, and it says for a specific small city. Does that mean I'll only get deliveries in that city and only same day? Do I need to sign up for other cities as well?
There are different tiers. I actually recently found out that I'm in the same day tier as well. It's based off of your market needs and your standing on the platform. If you reach out to support they should be able to advise what is needed to move up a tier
i dont think airspace pay is all that great. they seem to only pay for the mileage from pick up to the location and wait time. they do not pay for the packages you are moving.
@@ToyaDrives they pay $1 a mile for suv and i think 1.30 for anything bigger or 25 for minimum fare wage but if you want the real money they send you out of your state. But you can get TSA qualified and they pay for it.
