People that doordash need to stop taking orders that are not at least $1 per mile. As contractors, we set our rates, and when you keep accepting low paying orders, it Diminishers our pay! I don't know if it's happening everywhere, but doordash has been cutting pay left and right and keeping part of the tips now. Have you noticed when you get a double up or multiple order, it cuts your tips now, or receive an order, and it says $6.50+. It no longer gives the exact tip amount, and this is due to people taking crap orders. Be smart, Start declining these because it will keep circulating around until the price has to be raised or not get delivered. If everyone would quit excepting them, they have to go back to what originally worked. You're not making money unless it's at least $1 per mile. The cost of gas is up, wear and tear on your vehicles, and everyday inflation has risen. Just be smart.
These idiots will take any order that comes on their phone, I get orders for 9 dollars for 14kms, not happening, gas isn't cheap anymore. Ppl need to stop accepting these orders.
Tip number 8, don’t take advice from someone “deactivated multiple times”… tip number 9, don’t take advice from someone who hasn’t dashed in so long they don’t know most their tips haven’t worked for months!!!!! Tip number 10, don’t take advice from someone making DoorDash videos just for views that even when a video is 2 days old and someone actually believes him and ask a question,he doesn’t even care enough about his viewers to answer one person!!!!! There,I fixed it!
Same here dudu but so luck i got reactivated with the help of a professional support called Iron_techz he helped me alot when i was desperate and i think he can help you too, i suggest you send him a request
Got one a couple weeks ago for a Walgreens shop order and made $127 but it was from a bot sold by gigshield. It's quite tough to get orders without it in atl.
I got my BIGGEST order today thanks to the bot by *GIGSHIELD* . It was for a volleyball team playing here in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Its hard to do doordash gere without them. Hell im 57 and had to learn to use bots. Haha! against our LSU home team
My biggest order using a doordash bot from gigshield came when One of the supervisors at my local Target ordered McDonalds for the employees for the employees (there were 12 bags of food) and I actually ended up with like $322
Doordash has been one of the best jobs I’ve had snce i started using a bot. It was set up for me by gigshield. I literally get only good orders whenever i want in California My acceptance rate is always above 75%. My usual pay is 30-60 an hour after tips and I still get compensated every Monday for any waiting times or underpayment on dds part. No bosses, everyone is cool My pay has been 2000-3500 a week. I really don’t see how drivers complain unless they’re not ready to be tech conscious
Before getting a DoorDashbot from gigshield and massivelyincreasing my earnings, I was so tired of the small orders when DD is my only income and my husband has to endure long hours of overtime.
My days had a lot of waiting between orders:( But now I get orders conveniently with the bot I got frm the GIGSHIELD RU-vid channel. Hopefully more to come!!
I've gotten surprise tips ever since i bought a bot from gigshield: a $35, a $50, $80, and the craziest one was $117 from a woman who lived downtown and was worried bc of the weather
#3 is considered fraud so dont do that!! if the order is stolen and your at the restaurant, call DD support and theyll give you half pay right then and there. dont do a fake delivery as this guy mentions. also multi-apping, just pause the other apps if you get a good order then after drop off, turn apps back on till you get your next order
Seriously! And knowing how eager I was when I first started DoorDash, I probably would have taken this #3 advice, being naive, and see it as an opportunity to cheat the system. Glad I didn’t lol
My tip is DON’T use in-app navigation. In fact, don’t even click the directions button in the app & have the directions sent to your own nav. I’ve caught DD adding 5-10 minutes to my route to drop food off. Luckily I know my area so I don’t fall for it most times. It’ll have me turning off the road the house is on, going in a big ass circle, and then getting back on the road! 5-10 min each order really adds up to wasted time, gas, and $$
What navigation do you use? DD uses Google maps which sucks at times but they have it integrated so don’t you lose that integration by using another navigation. I was looking at using Waze or Sygic....
I agree at times it made me take a road that was parallel to the highway for like 10 miles when I could have just hopped on the highway and made the trip way less bc all the lights. But I do prefer there gps bc it has the speed limit.
It uses google maps, and its pretty on 99 percent of the time, I don't what your talking about? If you moved in from a another country, yeah that could be but google is right on in app! LOL!
Now they remove that “hack”. Now they don’t show you the name of the order, it only says customer and when you try to unassign it, it says total may be lower, they don’t show the amount anymore. That’s doordash doing their garbage update to make us deliver their garbage orders.
Number three could definitely lead to deactivation. And the overwhelming majority of those "already picked up" orders haven't been delivered, they've been stolen by the driver.
Totally agree. Drivers are taking a big risk trying this. It's stealing money from DD. I hope drivers don't take that advice just to get over on DD for 10 bucks. Smh
@@corneliusjones1173 Well like he said, you contact the customer first to find out if they have received the order or not before doing that. I guess people don't listen smh.
It happen to me doordash think i stole the Ffucking food but i deliver it that location ...once signal on your phone is weak...its consider you stole the food ...fffucking doordash theres a Bbbbulshit
I showed up at a restaurant I was sent to that was closed and got full reimbursement when I sent them a photo of the door with the hours. Then they sent me 4 more in a row for the same restrauant and I sent the picture for each. They reimbursed me for all of them.
@1:16 I got paid $12 dollars for 2 miles, come to discover it was already delivered, DoorDash support told me keep the food! $90 dollars worth of Cotton Patch! Lasted me and Mom 6 days! Complete with 3 full clam shells of chicken fried steak and chicken fingers, all the fixings and 3 days of desserts! I get free food rather frequently, about every 3 months or so.
I had a doordash to a halal food place and they gave me free soup and samosa while I waited for my order. I've had pizza places offer free drinks too, many places are quite kind to dashers in my area and it's always nice to receive free food/drinks
I was getting treated much better by workers at my regular places than I normally get treated out in the world. After awhile, I found out thar they took a liking to me because I never gave them a hard time. Turns out that not only do drivers tend to be difficult, but the restaurants have many of the same frustrations with the dd system that we have. My point is to be decent to the workers. It can really pay off in the long run.
The tip 3 also applied with Uber eats, if you are a driver and you went to restaurant to pickup a order and either it was picked up or no order were placed, by reporting the situation to Uber, you will be compensated base pay for your troubles.
Ubers pay is crappy for this though. You don't get half pay for it usually it's only a couple bucks compared to DD. I'm finding more times then non people are just unassigned the order then it gets put back in the Q for another driver.
Who cares about that $3 lol. All the time you have to spend on the phone explaining this and that then they have to call the restaurant to find out what happened, that crap takes like 15 minutes when I could have just moved on and got another higher paying order already.
This happened to me 2 times in a week with DoorDasher. The first time they gave me half the pay with no issues. The last time they told me to go back into the store to “convince” them to make the order. I explained the manager said they would be happy to remake it if it’s sent back through. Door dash said for me to try again! Umm.. heck naw.. it’s taking to much time and i don’t get paid to go back and forth with employees at the restaurant. So instead of getting paid, I just cancelled it on my end so I could move on to something else.
I don't accept wingstops for that reason. Sometimes, the machines are out of ice, or the machines would run out of drinks. I remember the first time I walked in to pick up a wingstop order, and the cashier told me I had to fill the drinks (6 drinks). I unassigned and walked out. The trick is not to waste too much time on one order.
Offers frequently show straight, line-of-flight distance based on physical proximity to the restaurant, NOT DRIVING DISTANCE. Also, offers sometimes show the SHORTEST DRIVING DISTANCE but after you accept & confirm pick up, they show you the FASTEST ROUTE based on time not distance. You can see this in the in app navigation by selecting the grey, not blue, navigational lines that say "similar ETA" or "1 minute (or 2 mins or 3...) slower. THIS IS NOT AN ACCIDENT
Funny…my area at 1am consistently every day I get $35-$40+ runs to McDonald’s for usually less than 5 miles and usually like a 20 piece and a drink maybe fries but when I get to this one McDonald’s they say it’s breakfast we can’t fulfill the order so now I run to the other McDonald’s that does lunch all day I order the food pay and have them bag it up as a door dash order and I drop it off sucks cancelling and getting nothing best case $3 lmao gotta finesse the finessers
Would the customer get charged twice if I say I delivered an order they already received? I don't want to do that to a potential long-term customer. What about insurance so Doordash doesn't lose money? I don't want to do anything that's against their policies or illegal.
No they can’t charge the customer twice. And honestly DD doesn’t know if the restaurant gave you the food to deliver even after it’s already been picked up by someone else.
I’ve been watching you for a while- I used to make 1200 a month in a small Texas town. Now, I live in the Chicago suburbs and can’t even get on the schedule during the week, only the weekends. I can make MAYBE 500 a month now, not including gas and all that. It sucks so bad. I’m waitlisted on all the other apps so multiapping isn’t an option. As a single mom of three this used to help a lot but now I have to find a new side hustle! I just used the link to that solo app. Hopefully it helps. Thanks for the content! I used to dash and use your content for motivational all the time.
Same here dudu but so lucky enough i just got approved with the help of a professional support called Iron_techz he helped me alot when i was desperate and i think he can help you too, i suggest you send him a request.
The mileage is calculated with the amount of miles to the pick up and drop off, you might be 4 miles from pickup and 2 miles to drop off....they will say 6 miles, at least that is how I figure it :)
Sometimes, they will lie on a high mileage order. I had couple where I only took them because it's was supposed to be counting the mileage to the restaurant and that was like half the mileage, only to find out after picking it up the distance to customer was still the full distance DD said when the order was sent to me.
Bruh!! Very valuable info. Thank you for that. Just started dashing and I've already ran into a few of the issues you mentioned in this video. you gave me the knowledge I need to combat these issues.
“Hi, I’ve been deactivated numerous times. Now here are some of my hacks Doordash doesn’t want you to know.” Ok Doordash plant, I see you, almost got me 🧐
Was just same here and I wasted time trying to get support to get my account reactivated guess what? They never did . If not for *_Cyber.kor1* (solution and support services) who got my account reactivated. And i can boldly recommend them if you still havent gotten a solution yet.
Nope they say they will but they won’t . The only time they pay half is if u already picked it up. And why u trying to scam the job that’s paying u? If u go to restaurant and order is canceled or picked up it doesn’t count. If u pick up food and they cancel it’s urs. The way ppl try to scam for more. Work for ur money
Door dash photos do not save on our camera roll. They asked me to upload a photo for proof and their photos are NOT our photos. There is no way for me to prove I delivered.
You can call support after an order and let them know something was off about it. I've had to do that before. I had someone act fishy once and so I called and let DD know they may get an unwarranted complaint about me. Spent the 10 mins that wasted on the phone while driving into a better zone.
I had a customer request that Ieave their order at the "side" door. Ok, the side door just happened to be down a dark alley. It was 3:15am, pouring down rain, there was absolutely no light in the alley and things to hide behind/ jump out of from and also downtown- which is a very high crime area in my town. I was like, "oh, hell no!". I called the woman, Ashlee. A man answered. He said he was Ashlee and yes, to take the order to the side door. I said, I'm sorry but I didn't feel comfortable doing that as it was potentially unsafe. He was insistent and rude as he could be. IThe son of a bitch gave me thumbs downs all around and a 1 star rating.
To keep your acceptance rate up, instead of declining an order, accept it and then unassign it. Your completion rate goes down, but your acceptance rate stays up, which means more high pay orders. I'm not sure how low your completion rate can get, but I let mine drop all the way down to 77% and they never said anything to me. By the time my completion rate had gotten that low, my acceptance rate had gone from 80% up to 96%.
This is exactly what I wanted to know, thanks. I have 100 completion, but looks like acceptance rate is more important. I go from 98 to 56 real quick on a bad night.
@@firstlast_xcompletion rate is what door dash is looking at right now your completion rate not so much your acceptance rate you can get deactivated if your completion rate falls below 70% I would look at the rules for fact check ijs
This is a terrible tip lol. You don’t get deactivated for acceptance rate but you can for completion rate. Even more so now. So I’ve heard they are getting more strict with completion.
#3 you just call doordash and you get half base pay plus the whole tip. You dont have to text or drive to the customers house. Ive got over $8 on a $10 order. I repeat doordash gives you the customers tip. The half pay is just the base pay.
I did this once because I went to unassign an already picked up order and the "order already picked up" option for some reason wasn't there. I did end up getting half pay, but only after a 20 minute circle jerk of support calling the restaurant to confirm it was indeed picked up, trying to them to remake it anyway, etc.
Multi Apping is the worst idea ever, first you will get deactivated, second the stuff is gonna be gold, the apps will send you in different directions sometimes, and it's just a bad idea, and it's not good for the customer. It's kind of an asshole thing to do.
I did DD along with UE. I have had so much trouble with DD I now do UE only. One hack that I use is when another driver picks up an order and then cancels it (in other words, steals) the order will go back out over and over and over. Sometimes the payout increases when this happens. I can tell this is the case when an order is sent to me in the double digits. I go to the restaurant verify order had already been picked up and if so I call the customer to see if they received it. If no, then I see if buying the food is worth it based on what the payout is. I had a payout for $25 and only $8 to purchase so I tell customer to not cancel the order and I’ll be on my way. $17 is better than $3 all day long!
So thankful I hound this guy. Now I can beg for a free donut lol. These guys come on here with useless info only so they can get fools like me and you to watch and then they make money with RU-vid.
Dont lie about picking up an order. You may still have to drive there anyway to be able ro make as "delivered", the person may have picked it up themselves and then that makes you look fishy, and the customer might have a hard time getting a refund for the delivery fee. You take the hits as they come. Some days you do better, and some days you dont. But dont make yourself look untrustworthy by lying on the job that's not cool
The checking of pay for stacked orders is not correct. I just tried to look on one for mine and it said estimated total $0. DoorDash is getting more shady
Wow...tip #3...borderline fraud there. Just report with support, get half pay and save miles you would have to drive to customer, and PU new order. Raise acceptance % by unassigning orders is a hack that should have been on here.
i use to do number 6 but now it just tells me if i unassign i ill go down to whatever percent, for me it no longer gives how much i make by keeping the other order. guess i did it 1 to many times lol. i had a pick up at store for 7:22pm but had to have it delivered to the customer by 7:16pm, this was today. i got it delivered on time not sure what the deal with the pick up time and drop off time deal was
Tip #1 is only half true. You can get your dasher account reactivated depending on why it was deactivated. If you were deactivated for a safety reason or legal reason you won’t be getting that account reactivated. You can always try to create a new account and sometimes the system won’t catch the same information.
I go to a Starbucks everyday to get coffee before i start dashing..alot of restaurants in this area..got to know them well .they give me coffee free almost everytime..ill bring them stuff like cookies or candy once in a while..i literally save about $200 a month,on free coffee..
I made connections with over 30 restaurants, I get free food every week. I get free crumbl cookies to free fires at 5 guys! It's because the food is there for a 30 mins never will be pickup, so they throw it away anyway, on the no tip orders.
@@TheNewsIsLying2U You just be happy and say talk to them. And say Hello! I have not got free food for the past month now. It's a hit and miss these days.
One he didnt mention which is risky is reporting a restaurant is closed when they are open. You just take a picture anywhere, it could be a different store front and the app will accept it. I had a friend do this all the time and got away with it.
@@DreadCthulhuu Getting half pay. I've also heard of people being deactivated for sitting by a restaurant that was closed early and accepting/ reporting it closed on a lot of orders, which DD considered to be fraudulent. Not worth being deactivated and having to appeal for 3 months, is what the person said who did it. It's fine if it's once and you didn't sit around waiting for it to happen more.
Iss messt up that we evn hafta depend on customers 4 tips. 2.50 base pay iz disrespeckful az hell & tellz me exactly how they appreciate us, knowin we're drivin so many miles. Can we unionyze?
Here's a hack Doordash doesn't want people to know about. Many venues, such as Subway, has their own website through which you can order you food. In some cases, such as Subway salads, the bowls are the same size regardless which website from which you ordered your food. However, the taxes; fees; etc. will be lower, in this case Subway, than it would be through Doordash. Also, websites - such as Subway - will ask you to tip your driver since it will be delivered, and since websites - such as Subway - have contracts with Doordash, it will be a dasher whom will deliver your order as well as get the tip. In this instance, I am not aware if the Dasher even knows nor cares how the order was placed - through Doordash or Subway. Dashers are only doing their job in order to make money. So keep them tips a coming. Also, in some states, customers are suppose to receive a paper receipt after a purchase. Some venues, such as grocery stores, do not give websites - such as Doordash store credit. When a dasher goes to said grocery store to do some shopping for you, they pay for it with THEIR personal credit card. Also, the price for whatever the dasher paid is less than what appears on Doordash's website for each item. So, a question remains. Should the venue be forced by law to print a second identical receipt for the customer without the dasher's personal and credit card information, or should the customer just print a receipt from Doordash's website knowing that the information on the receipt is false? Just a thought.
Wait, your pay hack for an order that was picked up, is not something I suggest anyone do. Just take the half pay. I suggest you call support in that instance and they will get you the half pay.
I made a new dasher account. Same name info different phone number. Didnt apply for a dasher direct card scared it would alert something since i had one before so getting paid took two weeks an 50 delivieries
You can't see the pay per stack order anymore. Door Dash took away that feature. Only shows you complete pay for both order's. You see the breakdown after you deliver both order's
I haven’t been able to see the individual order pay on a stacked order for at least 2 months. I don’t see the breakdown until both orders are delivered.
QUICK TIP ON WHAT NOT TO DO. you know how half pay on closed store's or they dont have order. Well local taco bell had decided theyre dystem was down or whatever. So they didnt have any dd orders. Well i got half pay for the first one. They sent another an another an another. I told the agent each time what was happening they continued to pay me for each it got up to about 40 bucks in ten minutes an ingot deactivates
Thx for info! I didn’t know we couldn’t multi app, unassigned crap stack order. I got half pay because a “fake” dasher picked up my order but didn’t deliver to customer. I got free food today! I accepted a too far away order. I swear the address changed after I picked up order!! I unassigned. Restaurant told me to keep food after I tried to give it back
Let me ask you this after 3 and 1/2 years of driving doordash continually drowns my market with drivers to the point where now the new drivers which are by the ton or getting all the orders and they're leaving all of us that have been out here for years out to dry I have maintained a five-star customer rating a 70% Plus on acceptance 96 on time or early but that's not accurate because it hasn't moved in over a year and I'm more on time or early than anything and then my number of or I've done 9,7
That’s not true if you’re in that location or at that store and 70 makes another order Andrea top Dasher I’ve gotten three orders at once from Pizza Hut because I was there
Now my question is even if you’re on route to a cash order can you deposit or transfer the funds that you’ve earned so it doesn’t take it to the negative
I once got a free donut from Krispy Kreme while I was picking up the order. At first it confused me but I'm so glad that lady gave me that donut because sometimes I forget to eat breakfast or I don't have time to make myself breakfast and going 4+ hours of driving with no food or drink can be exhausting. I try to take breaks sometimes but one time I was at a gas station and accidently cut my dashing short because of the way I was holding my phone before I reached the restroom to pee. Then another time either the person I was trying to deliver to or DoorDash itself gave me the wrong directions for delivery and I spent over an hour trying to figure out where the hell I was and why the directions led me to that articular location. Long story short I still got paid but the guy never got his order and I went home with his food after I gave him a call and he said not to bother. Though I did explain to him that the directions were wrong.
In my area you can't really multiapp without getting caught cause the orders are rarely ready when you get there. Plus that technique for looking at a stack order to find the garbage one doesn't work anymore. I tried to guess once and ended up screwing myself out of a decent tip. They were both going to the same guy but I didn't feel like dealing with the traffic for the second restaurant so I only did one.
The problem with the already delivered thing is 9 times out of 10 it was just another driver stole the order when you call the customer they say no they haven't gotten it. But other than that that's a great idea.
I would like to know WTF DoorDash is doing with the schedules. When I press dash now it tells me I can only work a half hour or an hour. If you go to the schedule sight it is mainly during the night. Those of us with night vision issues don't work at night. Are they trying to get rid of drivers?
Hey everybody I so much I agree, More dashers saturated in your cites and I even called doordash support and they know about this too. I guess now Tony is making money? LOL!
In my opinion as a driver (one week) it is the MOST BADEST AND THIEFEST delivery company of all. My opinion as a user? The same thing, since THEY PAY A MISERY, if they work with people who are mostly irresponsible, they care little about the clients, the food is lost and they charge you for it. I ordered a meal one day and he spent 3 hours in the restaurant waiting for the driver and every time I called him he told me that he was almost there. conclusion: THE COMPANY IS USELESS, IT SHOULD DISAPPEAR.
I figured the mileage wasnt correct. I read that door dash mileage is just a straight line. There may be a building there which makes it longer but they only do straight line miles
Anyone agree/disagree with his advice on #6 Separating Stacked Orders... to take the better of the two and decline the bad dash? I can't even distinguish between a single or stacked order until it's too late, and I've accepted it. Only to be pulled out of my hot area and experience tolls and other nonsense.
I had a stack this past Monday (6/19/23) and tried the unassaign trick and received a message that the pay will be lower but not an actual amount. Luckily, they were both okay orders. Still, it's now risky accepting a stack especially if one is a long distance drop.
