The best part of the Copy Vegeta mini-arc is that we get to see Vegeta interact with himself. Normally, you’d think one could get along with him or herself, but not Vegeta. The original & the copy acted like the other wasn’t good enough to call himself Vegeta 🤣
Fun fact three years later! Copy Vegeta was cool because the voice of Copy Vegeta was the original voice actor for the Ocean English dub of Dragon Ball Z. So we got to hear both English voices interacting.
Avi Eds I did it a couple years back, and I got to say, it’s... not really fucking worth it. It’s just so much filler. Not like this filler, I’m talking some episodes even in mid to late Dragon Ball where I literally skipped the first half of episodes and I shit you not, I missed absolutely nothing. I would go back to see what I missed and then one particularly bad example, I missed seven wide panning shots of a forest and three lines of dialogue.
Why is Yamcha always so poor and girlfriendless? I know he's not as cool as all the other characters but he's tallish, buff, good lucking, and can still probably lift a bus with his pinky or serve effectively as any country's entire military. Must just like that outcast lifestyle.
Zellig it’s hard to meet normal girls when you can lift a bus. And it’s hard to meet super girls when the people they’re interested in can kick the shit out of you. It’s a hard life for a Yamcha.
Am I the only who have love to see Pikkon getting ressurected to take part in ToP, since he's also a part of U7. Not instead of Freeza/Buu, but instead of Tien.
Actually the Goku Ancestor's back story might be canon now, King Kai may have been telling about the end of Planet Sadala instead of Planet Vegeta because he didn't want to risk Goku learning about Frieza.
Also, DB and DBZ animators and writters dragged some fights for long periods because there was a point in the dragon ball production where the manga was like ,8 weeks ahead of the anime, it was insane
Childhood is watching DBZ and being bored every time a Slice of Life episode comes on because there's not a constant supply of punching, exploding, and people dying. Adulthood is coming to appreciate the calm between storms that let us see who the characters really are.
my favourite part of the Arale episode was when vegeta said that he is not ever gonna battle anybody from a 80 s gag manga again and when he got humiliated by Arale when he got kicked through a wall
I wonder if Goku ever thought to simply have Hit repeatedly kill him then revive him. And then get stronger via the numerous zenkai boosts caused by the deaths?
They don't have Zenkai anymore. They stopped a long time ago when they reached their maximum potential in their normal state. That was mentioned in the Zamasu arc.
Gohan and videl are me and my wife I'm really strong and know alot but she is strong in her own right and I respect it, really love when she is in control. 😍
One of my favorite details from number nineteen's pick is when Krillian beats the illusion of Nappa. Nappa is seen laying on the ground in the position Yamcha had when he was killed by a Cyberman.
Wait, wait. What about the early Dragon Ball Z episode where Gohan joins up with some orphans trying to evade Child Protective Services? Or the one where he befriends an injured dinosaur? Those episodes were really touching.
You totally missed Super episode 15 with the Sunakians. This had the funniest part of all of Dragon Ball when Hercule "wins" against Goku and Goku flies away holding the tractor in his hand.
What’s so weird about Garlic Jr? I thought he was actually well written as a villain or at the very least a more serious version of Emperor Pilaf. Also there’s a pretty cool fight scene with Goku and Garlic Jr’s henchmen that’s still worth watching. I’m actually surprised it’s not even mentioned in this video.
I honestly LOVE all of Gohan's High School episodes AND I'm also a BIG fan of the slice of life episodes. They're fucking amazing!! Only ones that I'd add to this list are the snake way fillers, and some of the kid Gohan training fillers where he's out in the wild by himself.
not many people really realize how the Anime and Manga aren't the exact same continuity so the filler is technically canon but only to the anime unless mentioned otherwise
The Arale episode was great. I just wish they gave Vegeta a LITTLE more time. Like come back for a second round before it all ends. It reminds me of Sabat and Schemmel just bantering back and forth.
