Organization bins, shelves, trolleys, etc is a new growth industry that wasn't needed in the 1960s through 1980s because as you mentioned everyone decluttered and had only what they needed.

The Trones shoe cabinet holds 4 rolls of paper towel. Also great for keeping various garbage bags, kitchen rolls (parchment, foil, vacuum sealer bags), reusable shopping bags... I store all my used plastic shopping bags in one. All my vacuum bags, filters & attachments in another. They're great. I have them in 3 separate areas of my house. If I could squeeze more in somewhere, I totally would. Maybe I will... 🤔 Edited to add that I love that you gave alternate uses for a lot of these products. Helps jumpstart my brain into thinking about ways to use things that are different from the use for which they were designed. Like the Godmorgen plastic containers. Those would be perfect for stackable tea storage in my tea cupboard. 💡

That shoe tray at 11:06 also works great under a litter box! I have a messy cat and the tray catches the kitty litter and keeps all his mess contained, with super easy clean-up :)

I love being organized! It's time for some new organizers. Always love Ikea, but haven't bought much of their storage and organization items. We have started using the cardboard boxes we get with Amazon delivery for organizing our closet and cupboards. It’s been a great idea too.

Good for you! Use contact paper or leftover paint and stickers to make them look pretty, if you care to. Paint and then put duct tape around the corners and edges to make the box last a long time. You can cut up one box to use as dividers inside another or inside a drawer. I've done this for decades. It's what people did before plastic organizers existed, reused and remodeled wood crates and cardboard.

Emily, I love organization! In fact, I can’t find things if they aren’t placed back in their homes! Here’s a tip for you that I was given by a man that sharpens my knives...turn the knives upside down or blade up, that way they don’t rub against the holder and become dull.

Love your channel, and I love my Kuggis boxes. Discovered them about a year ago, and there's no going back to "Life without Kuggis" ;-) I also have them stacked the way you do in a white dresser. I store all my electronics in there - external hard drives, cables, USB sticks etc.

With the wreath hung without the garment bag, I just want to mention that I've made impromptu dust-covers with large grocery/plastic bags. Just carefully punch the hole in the center-bottom for the clothes hangar to fit thru, then use, carefully working the plastic bag down over your item.

I know I’m super late to this video and your comment, but I actually just ordered that wrapping paper organizer online and it’s meant for the tiny rolls of paper, so most of mine don’t fit. I’m glad she showed it with the blankets because I’m not going to be able to use it as intended. I previously had a hanging gift wrap organizer that worked really well, but I overloaded it and the hanger broke. Those seem to be the best option in my opinion. They even hold bags and have little pockets for ribbon and tape.

Really liked these ideas. Also with all the white containers, you could put labels on to identify what's in them. I will definately be looking out for some of these. Though you do need to do your homework beforehand, as I got some lazy Susan sets, only to find you need your shelves to be wide enough 🤔.

Great items brilliant information, I loved IKEA items, l love the kitchen draw cutlery organisers, I'm reorganizing my kitchen right now so I'm searching for the best space saving items for a kitchen that lacks enough kitchen cuboards I only have 5 and it only has one shelf inside of each cuboard, I have some space underneath the inside of each shelf and underneath the inside top of the food cuboards. Happy New Year to you! We use the Ikea shoe organizers for gloves and hats in our entryway. I like some of the other ideas. I am in the process of organizing my kitchen better and some of the drawer dividers look like they will work well. Thanks for the info!
