During my physcosis I remember it lasted almost 2 weeks . It was such an awakening and during this time I had so much energy hardly slept or hardly ate . I had a very Spiritual moment during this time where I was able to forgive my abuser from childhood without anyone being present . Not only did I forgave him but in that moment I also prayed for him . I was finally able to let go of the pain after more than 20yrs of carrying hate . I thought I was gonna die but instead I feel reborn .

the sad thing is that nobody wants to hear the stories or any of the lessons learned during this time. we are looked at as lepers rather than having something special to share.

I was just diagnosed officially with Bipolar disorder. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. what I want to know is why is it then that I feel some type of spiritual crisis? I cannot explain or describe my feelings and when the doctor asked me what my understanding of life Is, I just said I want inner peace. he told me the only way I can attain this is through taking mood stabilizers. This is when I mentioned "well what about the people who get 'terminal' cancer and are able to heal themselves completely without any medication" he responds by saying that's because they have faith. And so I say "THAT is what I want". he says "you are looking for a needle in a haystack that you may never find". I just know deep inside that these illnesses are a compass to lead us to the life we are meant to live. But it's so difficult to express the feelings that come with it. they are uncategorized
@mwamussa
@mwamussa 5 лет назад
He is somewhat right. It is very hard to find nirvana, unless you have a deep desire and also awaken your intuition which will send people into your life in serendipitous ways to help you achieve inner peace. Mood stabilizers can be quite dangerous - blood clots, for one. they don't tell you that - and antioxidants such as aronia have helped me. Try the antioxidant route and keep searching. Check out this chart - www.heartsongctr.com/class101/series1/chakraframe.htm an oldie but a goodie. It seems we have excess energy in some parts of our brains or bodies for some reason.

many are called, few are chosen.....those of us, or many of us who have been traumatized through the world's social injustices, and/or suffered great losses of loved ones, begin to ask for knowledge, wisdom, and understanding.....yet through all trauma, we remain in love, and compassion.....and the true journey begins......trust the universe, observe, study...and know WE ARE LOVED on many realms, and dimensions...... 1

I had my spiritual awakening this week and it was the most beautiful feeling I've ever felt in my life. My soul showed me the real world. It's never going to be the same for me again. You cannot go back. There's only one person in my life who's on the same level of consciousness so it's a harder adjustment without someone to talk to. But I'm so excited to learn new things.

I realise that it’s a long time since you posted your message, but I’ve just found it, and totally appreciate what you say. Life after (what I believe to be a profound spiritual experience, and not psychosis as the doctors would have me believe) is certainly not the same. My priorities are so very different, and the world as I knew it is difficult to accept. I’m very fortunate to have a couple of dear friends who ‘get’ where I am, so we can talk together. It’s as if I’m now on a different plane of existence. The joy and ‘knowing’ has receded, but I know that I was given an insight of something very profound for a reason. I send you best wishes.

the best way i could describe my manic episode was encountering the natural world as it was for the first time since childhood and being in total alignment with it such that all fear was gone and the power and beauty of universal oneeness could be experienced firsthand, i have never felt more alive than during my episode, but unfortunately it comes at a cost where you brush shoulders against the man made world that isn’t prepared to accept it, that’s where the treatment for bipolar disorder had to come in, i couldn’t afford universal wholeness, i had to let it go in order to become safe within myself and the world around be, but i’ll never forget it, it changed my life for the better

I appreciate your dissection and analysis on this topic. My mission is to raise awareness for the rest of my days and this Video affirms my suspicions about so called mental illnesses and how they are I fact human awakening markers or signs that only with cultural stigma and the associated of a problem to them are they harmful. Ancient lost wisdom has flowed through your work. Perhaps these “illnesses” that Plague our world will come to be interpreted as signs towards enlightenment just in different levels. It’s with acceptance and non judgment that we can truest be aware of our true propose. Thanks

Sean, you are a genius, your videos are so awesome and clear, how can ANYONE hate you for all these effords you are making with your gorgeous videos. I have to say, i had ALL these experiences, and now i seem to ease-down, finally, after allmost 20 years of suffering, mixed with periods of intense bliss and enjoyment, being 'bipolar' is a gift in a curse and a curse within a gift, it's all ONE, Ying and Yang, and we are experiencing the complete spectrum of spiritual conciousness. Love, Zohra

the ancient Greeks used to consider bipolar disorder as a divine gift from the gods! A divine gift! Wow! That’s WAY different than how we are looked at today. How fascinating. “Mania” and “melancholia” were among the first two diseases ever categorized. Even Socrates and Plato understood that mania was a divine state with various characteristics such as “erotic inspiration” sent from the god of love or “proteptic inspiration” derived from the Muses. They even go on to say that the god Apollo is the source of this divine inspiration!

Wow. I deeply thank and respect the thoroughness, creativity and intelligence you put into understanding the issue and making the video. I have been diagnosed as bipolar but have always perceived it as a spiritual transition. I had also worked in a mental hospital where I worked with adolescents straddling mutliple worlds. This helps me understand all of our journeys better. Thank you so very much, Sean.

I love your complete analysis of these difficult,scary transformative, transitions! Our daughter at University just had a full blown Kundalini Awakening! At first we were anxious and fearful. Maybe a severe chronic mental disorder? or a profound cosmic transformation? If I hadn't had a Spiritual Awakening but slower clearing(over 30 yrs) and had done some research on Kundalini. I probably wouldn't have calmed down and rode the wave with her! This hit our daughter hard and created a fear bomb that rippled through her University Friends. None of them understood and shunned her like a witch. But others came around. In any event.. She had temporary psychosis was unrelatable . Our hearts go out to families that are affected by heavy dark transitions in this reality. We knew intuitively to help ground her and accept what was happening... Both scary and cool. She now has very highly tuned perceptions, clairvoyant and very strong from within. WE ALL ARE UGRADING... THE SHIFT HAS BEGUN! ❤️✌🏼

Constant emotion ups highs... Vibrations are outta this world... I hear frequencies sometimes... Vivid dreams.. Outta body dreams... I had a nap one afternoon and had a outta body experience where I saw myself being dragged by my leg out of my bed... Always have flying dreams... I have premonitions... Not big ones but small ones... I don't watch tv.. Or read newspapers.. Magazines... I do not own a lap top or computer... But I do have a mobile and even being on my phone for to long bugs my head........ I stay away from technology as much as possible..... I don't like being around people because I pick up and sense everyone's problems so i stay indoors and seclude myself................. And because all of this is happening iv been diagnosed with Bipolar\mood disorder

I think we will evolve to the point that any mental health professional would be required to have experience by themselves the profound and deep process of awakening, healing, pain and anxiety that comes from the falling of the small ego mask. True help comes from people that have had this kind of experiences. Many psychiatrists nowadays are sleeping, they are unconscious people with a degree helping other sleepers in the need of profound understanding of their process.

My soul wishes to encourage you to feel very happy and content if not proud of your hard craft!! it has paid off millions and will keep on paying off trillions for new generations to come. You have my eternal gratitude for supporting me, gently, firmly, wisely, to assume my Kundalini syndrome. Very well put! I´d only add that we do need to show compassion for people who, despite their best efforts, find the experiences too difficult and overwhelming to deal with, even with great support around them. For these people, meds may be the best option.

Actually, there is no biological evidence of mental 'illness'. As a result, psychiatrists here in Brazil no longer refer to schizophrenia or bipolar disorder as 'mental illnesses' or diseases as they have no proof of such. They are only refered to as disorders, and it is fully accepted that no such tests for these disorders exist.

I was always quite enlightened but indoctrinated by society (still am to a certain extent) it is a battle for sure because I may fall back to the ways of the world TV etc but I do not want to go back to that ! multiple perspectives are the way to go for sure but the right ones, there are many truths and my personal truth is important to me.

I just had, what I was told by nurses, a manic episode of bipolar. At the beginning, it felt very much like what you described as spiritual emergency. However, I was unable to sleep for 3 days, so I went to see the doctors. They saw my symptoms and had a very serious and fearful attitude towards it; they immediately put me in a psychiatric ward. At that point, my spiritual experience took a sudden dive into the borderline schizophrenic spectrum you described. I wish doctors had a more open mind.

I tend to agree. Trauma may very well be the cause of negative psychosis such as paranoia and other delusions. I think this is my experience. Maybe, the negative psychosis episode is as you say a process to get rid of the past trauma which in my case was an intense feeling of abandonment and lack of trust.

Thank you, What validate your point of view further is that in my case the cause of my bipolar mania symptoms is the use of accelerated meditation tools like Holosync. And after studying Ken Wilber's levels of development, I now think that psychotic mania might be a fixation on the first fulcrum.(immature emotionnel self expression of that level)

Your spot on. They are a spectrum. I'm highly aware of myself. I get depression to bipolar to schizophrenia then I have to ground myself More!! Can take days and I have to keep people away when I'm like this. Stress triggers it and I'll never go in a hospital! I find trying to balance my chakras is the best method. Root chakra being the most important. I've been diagnosed with CPTSD and bipolar. I'll stop there Thanks 😆 I see the link with consciousness one of my symptoms is Disassociation. The more I dissociate the less conscious I become. I'm learning to deal with it. There isn't enough knowledge out there right now.

@DrAsIs143 I know a number of people who have recovered entirely and live free of medication - completely normal and healthy lives. (mind you, they fit the 'upper right' of my model). In fact, for me, my hospitalization of 15 years ago represented a genuine breakthrough. That is why I do this work. "Science" has turned a blind eye to the spiritual aspects of 'acute-psychosis' for far too long. People are not given an opportunity to heal because psychiatry denies what is staring them in the face.

During my psicosis I remember walking for 4 days into this dark valley and I asked God if I was going to stay there forever? He didn't answer. So, I told Him "It's okay I will still praise your name forever" I asked Him at least for a rubik cube family fotos and a fan. It was dark and I was floating. After seeing unbelievable evil/good entities and going through two of my own life legal trial He pulled me out to the light. It was painful but, today I feel more peaceful and uplifting than ever.

Sean, I've had another episode of psychosis this summer, and am clearly at the more "euphoric spiritual manic" end of the spectrum, with "mixed" behaviours that seem clearly "regressive" and emotionally-responsive ways of dealing with trauma - both within my own lifetime & past family jazz. My direct question to you -- and I've been really appreciating your videos, by the way -- a huge thanks: Let's say the episode has been interrupted due to "hospitalization", how would you go about going *back* into the traumas I was experiencing prior to hospitalization, to heal them safely? I believe you are running or developing a treatment model? How do you invite expression (?) of the traumatic circumstances so these can be liberated and healed? Thank you very much, Deep blessings,

I kept saying i was having a spiritual experience but no one believed me.. I am on meds now but would love to be off it it's not as much as i once was on so i am grateful.. I believed i was Egyptian Maat, Bob Marley n Salassie (a trinity)... I once told my parents i would kill them but never taught of suicide.. I smoked marijuana n the doc said it drug induced psychosis.. Now i am off weed n on meds however thanks for these videos i have been in yr profile all day.... O yeah i was sexually abused as a child too n when my bf cheated n got a girl pregnant this episode started with me n i started talking to myself n talking all my hidden secrets like being abused etc .. it lasted for months from 2014, 15 n 16... I went to rehab n started using tablets n i drifted back to reality in about 2 months but now i am worried about missing out on the spiritual wonders by using these tablets. Once again thanks for doing all this research n posting about it. Love always Gem

GREAT video...Do you think a spiritual awakening can be put in a period of an 'episode'? Is there a time and space for this...? Very , very well done Sir X. Anyone if you feel to know more from the spiritual explanation look for : Kundalini Awakening. Love-Light to you all X

As someone recently diagnosed I found your videos interesting. I think it correct to question your question as it could be both. Clinically Bipolar and a spiritual awakening is possible. As you mention it is possible to emerge from the episode as I did at a higher level of conscious awareness. Having been previously agnostic before my awakening one can imagine my surprise when this all occured. I see the world now from what some call an ascended state. Glad to know someone is considering these possibilities, well done.

Tim Flagler I think "previously" agnostic people have a great opportunity to heal, as they had, previously taken the time to arrive at the "logical" conclusion that they are agnostic. I was one myself. It reflects a high level of psychological development. However, people do get stuck sometimes. That's why I'm here! ;-)

This video is great! But I have a question. What with the trauma comes from past lifes or hereditary?

Sure...good question! The Circled areas are when I would expect most people to fall with regard to trauma and level of consciousness/development. However, there are exceptions. Some highly traumatized people of exceptional ability may be able to pass through to higher levels. I would expect that, for most, a fair amount of healing took place along that path, but maybe not.

Can trauma be caused by acumulated experiences? I have tried to go back through my inner fears during my phsychoanalysis therapy but I could not identify which was the one that scared me the most, so I do not feel free yet...

If you still obsess over past trauma, more details need to be uncovered. A good psych will ask you first to relive it out loud. As you gloss over details, he/she should ask for those details, and note any emotions exhibited when you do. Then you tell the story again as though you are watching someone else. The goal is for you to see the event as something that happened to a child, someone you no longer are, allowing you to shed the traumatic feelings associated with it.

I am a christian, but i believe that there is a difference between spiritual awakening and having a disorder. I have also been diagnosed with it. You can tell the difference when it is God or the devil, and when it is just your own mind or disorder taunting you. We have to remember that we are in the flesh, which makes us imperfect. God allows us all to have something to struggle with so that we are able to have compassion on one another. If we were completely perfect, we would not have empathy.

@MrDanielBowman74 With an intergral (or "power of now" as I call it) perspective on ego development, you will understand how 'curbing' the child ego and awakening the spirit are the same thing. Most people with BD are past that stage however. Their challenge is not to transcend the child-like, selfish, impulsive ego you refer to. These people are usually emotionaly repressed to some degree. Their tast is to transcend the modern, rational, adult ego.

I'm a skitzo & the penguins say what a great imformative topic on psychosis. Also the original complete science on consiousness is the Sanskrit Vedanta sutra or it's commentary Srimad Bhagavatam, the cream of the Vedas. Known as Krishna[Christ in english] consiousness, in which we link our consiousness direct to God in a loving relationship. We are a spiritual being NOW so living like one heals our consiousness. Our 'material' desires[lust] cause our sufferings, it's incompatable to the soul.
