If this feels like too much, do your best and aim to get 60 minutes of movement today.
Welcome to DAY 27! Today I'm taking you through Low Impact HIIT Workout. The goal of 20 MINUTE HIIT IT is endurance & speed; moving your body fast over a short period of time, then maintaining that speed over the course of the workout.
Today we’ve got a bunch of low impact high intensity exercises so you can still get in a great workout with no knee pain, no back pain, and NO SQUATS 🙅‍♀️
Working out should be about honoring your body. Not breaking yourself down, hurting yourself, or pushing yourself to the point of injury. So today’s workout will not only burn calories, but more importantly it will help you move and feel better in your everyday life!
.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear what you’re doing to stay moving! 💫 Tag @abby and #MadeToMoveIt on Insta, so we can see what you’re up to, and scroll the tag so you can learn more about your team.

This is my first time commenting on your videos but I thinks its time to let you know how I feel. I have always wanted to be healthier but never got motivated unless I was at the gym but it always felt hard for me to go with work and children on the line. It sounds like excuses but thats how I would feel. I recently started your workouts, about a month now and I am so happy you do this. Even if I'm a bit slow, I work on my form and try to really feel the muscles you're emphasizing in your videos. Sometimes its a 30 min HIIT, sometimes 20 min, or sometimes I make a combination of your 10 min ones. You have inspired me to workout at home, to give it my all no matter how long I'm working out. Its okay if I rest a bit, ita okay if I'm slow on catching up. The point is I AM DOING IT. Sometimes I even find myself talking to your video "you got this Abby" or "we're almost there" and I just want to thank you so much for all this. For someone who finds it difficult accomplishing tasks and learning you are amazing for doing this. Thank you so much for doing this. I really appreciate you and I know I'm being better for my girls, my family and most importantly myself. 💜💜💜

There is so much I love this workout! 1. Your attitude about moving for the sake of feeling and using your body instead of more vain fitness goals! Looove it, makes the whole workout more enjoyable instead of grimly going hard because you want to lose weight 2. You didn't do the moves at a super-fast speed ^^ Some workout by other instructors looks like they just want to show off... 3. As someone who does martial arts, I appreciate how most of the exercises train your balance 4. I love the 30:30 time split, makes me work extra hard in the last ten seconds, as I know I'll have time to catch my breath again 5. There are so many unique moves, and they are a ton of fun 6. I actually feel my glutes more than my quads! That never happend after a HIIT workout before In conclusion - keep up the great work, I'll definitely share your workouts!! :)

I did absolutely love this! Great low impact and yet really got my heart rate going. My only commentary is in relation to adverts. There were so many and as much as I appreciate advertisement as a means for income, that isn’t my issue, as HIIT is a “time specific” form of exercise, i think it completely hinders engagement and performance.

So thankful to have found this video and will definitely have to subscribe! I really want to get into shape before I turn 30 in January. I had a car accident after having my son back in 2018, and havent been as active as I would have liked. I have slowly been losing weight with being concious of what I put into my body and taking vitamins, etc. However, I've been developing extra pain in my knees, my right knee specifically. I had two fractured transverse processes from that accident, which I feel may be the starting cause of all these other things. I have numbness at night in my hands, specifically my right hand. Anyway, I'm hoping that getting into better shape and making more concious effort to stay healthy, then these problems will go away. I look forward to see what else you have. 😊 Also, I noticed I'm breathing better too! Just in one work out, definitely makes me want to do this daily💜

This is also a great routine with my cervical spine issues. There is good corework without prone crunches that can put pressure on the neck. My resting pulse is about 40-50 bpm and I was able to get to about 130 bpm and I broke a good sweat with this workout. Thanks for this alternative to high-impact HIIT.

Really great vid. And it's nice to hear that everyone with back and knee problems are enjoying it too. Thanks Abby. I hope you got a chance to catch your breath afterwards!

I felt great after this low impact workout! Great for working out at 8pm when you have downstairs neighbors and you just want to move your body to unwind and declutter your mind from the day.

I weigh 280 and I'm trying to get down to 180 by this time next year. I'm trying to find an exercise routine that is knee and back friendly. I found this tonight I can't wait to try this Wednesday. I hope to look through more of your videos so I can get a good routine going.

Love this!!! Could you make more videos like these for folks with lower back injury etc - no twisting, no arching Or crunching lower back, no crunches (for those of us with diastasis recti who can’t do them) thanks!!! This is the only video on pretty much the whole RU-vid that I can do without consequences from my back :))

I've been doing your Hiit Workouots for 2/3 weeks. And I really love them. But sometimes my kness are not as glas as I am when I'm finsihed. So I love when you do something knee friendly! Anyway, I would like to congratulate you for being empathetic to people that may not get to do everything in the workouts and being so positive in your words of encouragement and e-mails from the Movement Challenge. I also enjoy the fact that you don't put loud music on the background, its really more pleasant this way! By the way, my intent is to lose some belly fat and maybe gain some muscles or at least not lose what I have (I'm eating healthly), is it too much to do the HIIt workout everyday? I also do some of your full body , abs and glute workouts (2/3 times a week)
