Here is a timelapse of entire Tiny House build so you can see the process from breaking ground to putting in the epoxy counter tops and then the end results. Etsy Page: www.etsy.com/shop/CraftWithCo...
Fantastic!!! The only thing I’d have done differently is I would have put it higher so it would be easier to crawl under. Then just a personal preference, no wall texture. it was great to see so many age groups helping😁. Well done and thanks for sharing!
Oh, I just loved watching this video with all the boys from little tikes, to grown men build this amazing tiny house. It’s just perfect In every way. God Bless you all for building this and showing American what some hard work can do to change someone’s life.
I have watched videos of people building homes that I had to stop watching because I was angry about them not using the correct techniques etc... I found that I enjoyed watching this video... I was happy to see so many thigns done right.. It was refreshing and made me smile on many occasions. I loved seeing the dormers, I didn't expect them. I loved seeing the arched windows for the loft when I didn't expect them... I was VERY excited to see the corner staircase over the washer and the fridge... I enjoyed this build very much. Thank you for sharing it with all of us. ~hugs
This is a unique layout which I’ve never seen before. Very functional. Could we get a more slowed down walkthrough? You had the camera sweeping pass things too fast!
Oh, man...what a fantastic design and build. I'm racing against temps to get my 10 x 12 shed / cabin dried in and the exterior painted. Outstanding work ya done there. God bless you and your family.
I love this design inside and out, especially the staircase. It doesn't even look like there's an upstairs. The only thing I would change would be to have the bathroom open into the living room instead of the kitchen. Otherwise, great job 👏 👍!
This was the coolest video to watch all those men of all ages and the little lady come together and build that. It's awesome ❤️ Literally brought tears to my eyes
Definitely one of the better builds I've seen. Loved the floating footings for convenience (if you don't have serious storms or cyclones in that area) Us aussies learnt the hard way that wooden structures need deep footings in 1974 when the entire city of Darwin was flattened by cyclone Tracey. Thank you so much for sharing and teaching others. Kind regards from a lady cabinetmaker.
I love to see children participate in a skill my carpentry woodworking etc beautiful lot of kids said they can't work with their hands without technology
Great plan. I love the fact that from what I saw, you nailing plywood over the house before doing the rafters for a roof were stalled. That's safer and keeps you and your helpers from falling through.
there are 13 of us kids, and my oldest sister got married and wanted to stay close to are family so are dad and us boys built this for them and then a year later we sold the property and the house and moved down from Washington to Texas
Stuff like this is going to have to come back with the housing market and high personal debt causing more people to have to think of self sustainable ways to house their families. Good job
Bravo ! So touching to see all generations working together on the same project ! I wish we could get your plan of the tiny house only the wooden structure. I don't mean to still your ideas but the size of it seems so right... 12/16 looks like good but where are the stairs situated in the tiny house and shower ... Thank you anyway for this full of energy moment on video with all of the family of yours !
Here is a link to the site we got their manual from but customized it to make it more of a office/livable space. We basically made it from scratch using their plan as a print. We could have purchased the kit but Saved about $4000 by sourcing our own lumber. www.shedsforlessdirect.com/best-barns-hampton-12x24-wood-storage-shed-p-1420.html the stairs are all the appliances put together
wow that's fantastic my family is adding on a 12 × 16 room for me so we can all be together i don't suppose i could hire y'all to come finish it out on the inside like yours!!!?💜
I was a bit confused, Just before this one I saw a video title about foldable tiny houses. I thought it literally was built in 20 minutes.😅 Cute house!
You guys did a great job. Gorgeous little house. You managed to get everything it, too! How tall is the house? What are the wall heights? What is loft height?
@@thewoodshed15 That is very affordable! Did you hire a construction company to build it or was it friends and family that all helped bring it to life? And if it was a construction company, did the $12,000 include their charge or was the $12,000 just for the materials and you had to pay the contractor on top of that?
My Dad got the plans based on a 'Best Barn" Hampton Model. Here is a link to the site we got their manual from but customized it to make it more of a office/livable space. We basically made it from scratch using their plan as a print. We could have purchased the kit but Saved about $4000 by sourcing our own lumber. www.shedsforlessdirect.com/best-barns-hampton-12x24-wood-storage-shed-p-1420.html If you want to talk about the project more you can reach the builder (my dad) thru his website. www.manimhandy.com
@@thewoodshed15 Thank you very much, I will definitely look into it, if you have something with a plan and a vision, you will be all the more sure that you will know how to do it.
thank you. yah sorry, I have no excuses I should have video taped it. but glad you liked the rest

@@thewoodshed15 No worries. You're good. I make RU-vid videos too so I get it. I'm going to use this video to help me build my tiny home. So I appreciate it.
@ awesome are you going to make a video series out of it?

@@thewoodshed15 I'm not really certain. My YT channel is on Gaming. BUT I thought about having a 2nd channel that is devoted towards 'Grown up Hobbies'. Example, I have a small foundry and I love melting down metals. Welding and all that other fun stuff too. I thought about having a channel that is basically a 'how to' channel.
@@thewoodshed15 perfect, I think I'd put a Murphy bed where the couch is and have a bar table/chairs where the sofa is. Move them back when it came time to bring the bed down. You've truly done a great job! Thank you!
Thank you for this video I found it so enjoyable to watch it really was a pleasure...... I have always been fascinated with how things are built..when you are a little girl....nobody takes you out to the the workshop to build stuff with grandpa and the rest of the boys...so this was really cool..I felt like I finally got to see what you guys get up to... building things must be such an awesome feeling!!! Wow what a cool skill to posses...the ability to BUILD A HOME WITH YOUR VERY OWN HANDS....that is just... amazing...I wish I could do that....I just make it a home and decorate it and fill it full of wonderful memories after it's built I suppose..., I cook beautiful food that makes it smell soooo good ..... I guess everyone has a part in making it a home in the long run....if HE builds a house SHE will make it a home...we all play our parts I suppose..😉🪄🏘️
We can do that, we are all capable of doing that. I love building, being outdoors, doing the opposite my parents wanted me to do, heard all the time you're a girl you know!!! For great female role models check out "the girl in the woods"
