As a fluent Cantonese speaker, I would say this is intermediate level. It's at a good pace, but I don't think beginners will understand all the words.

I check the apps too and for beginner the speaking is quite fast. The first stage is very important, can’t do upgrades if can’t learn the first stage.

I think the wrong character was used at 12:45, the word used is gaak3 lei4 for next door and the characters shown are 隔離 (which means separate), but I think it's meant to be 隔籬 which is pronounced the same way but means next door. (In case this is actually helpful for anyone haha)

This is interesting. I'm learning Mandarin so I can understand most of what's written in this video, but to me Cantonese sounds like a mixture between Korean and Vietnamese. 😂 Good luck everyone! ~:~

this is labelled as absolute beginner! as a language teacher, this is more like elementary/intermediate, you're bound to make people feel overwhelmed and discouraged from learning the language..

Well, the language course is specifically for those using their learning program.. therefore it goes with their curriculum. I would recommend trying them out, although you will later on need a subscription. It is amazing content, this is coming from someone unable to afford this.
