I’d love to see a battle where you each go into 10 raid dens and catch the Pokémon in them and then choose 6 for your team to battle.

That could be fun, but there’s not a guarantee of catching in the den unless they manage to get Masterballs. Maybe if they break out of the ball, it counts as a “skip”?

Do a booster pack battle. Buy a Pokémon booster pack, then pick 6 Pokémon from the pack, don’t evolve them but make a team out of them. So if you draw a charmander you can’t make it into a charizard. It’s fun

I have a sneaking suspicion that Rain Dance is used when catching Pokémon in areas with damaging weather effects...it cancels out the hail/sand and allows you take it to 1 HP without risking chip damage.

I've got an idea for a Video, once Crown Tundra is out: A Team of 6, but you can only catch 2 Pokemon in the 3 Locations (2 in the base-game location (wild area or anywhere else you can go in the base game), 2 at the Isle of Armor and 2 at the Crown Tundra).

Video idea:You have 3 passes and 6 takes. Choose a starter pokemon based only on strongest stat and then decide to pass or take a pokemon by it's nature. After you have chosen to keep it or pass it the pokemon is revealed and you are stuck with whatever you got.

@@watashiboku7225 I don't really know either, but the original comment says "without Dynamax", so I'm assuming that he's saying that because the metagame focuses on Dynamax Pokemon this gen, so in a battle without Dynamax, sweeper teams get the advantage, especially since most of their usual counters are gone this gen.

I would love to see a battle with no supereffective attack allowed to be used even if its in the attack set of the pokemon (random set)

Some more challenge ideas: 1) Choose between pokemon based only on their cries 2) Pokemon "spit" (like the card game): a randomly-generated pokemon appears on the screen and the first person to smack a button gets it. If no one presses the button, then it is skipped. If one player completes their team first, then the remaining player must take whatever pokemon are generated next until their team is full. 3) Pick from a randomly-chosen range (with no skips) rather than an exact random number (for instance, the pokemon generated randomly, or any 'mon within two up or down from that one.)

5 star dens like that Flapple are guaranteed 4 max IVs, so especially when you get something with base 110 attack, you can really turn it into a deadly monster since Quick didn't hunt for any high IV mons.

Try this. Put different combinations of apricots in the machine present in isle of armor and use the pokeball you get from the machine to catch Pokemon . You will do it 12 times to catch 12 different Pokemons and then you will select your team. You can throw that pokeball you get only twice on a Pokemon
