20 More Uses For Siege Sideswipe 

I would cackle so hard if they retooled this mold into RID 2015 Sideswipe. It’d be inaccurate, but it’d be about as accurate as most of the other Legacy RID 2015 updates.

Another mold use for Siege Sideswipe is Armada Autobot Wheeljack. Where he's white instead of black as seen in Hot Shot's flashbacks with him. They already done SG Sideswipe, Takara Style Armada Wheeljack, and possibly soon a Hasbro Style Armada Wheeljack... Another Siege Sideswipe as Armada Wheeljack in his Autobot days makes sense.

Technically we still need Earth versions of Tigertrack, Deep Cover and Black G2 Sideswipe. They're so far the only variations still only using the cybertronian Siege mold instead of the Kingdom mold. There's probably also a few Micromasters who have similar transformations that could work.

You could also get a third use out of Gigawatt by remolding him into an unmodified Delorean as G1 Swindler, since the actual Swindler update we got was merged with Blackjack for repaint purposes and wasn't a Delorean.

On the subject of molds being reused, I'm genuinely surprised that we got Tow-Line out of Scraphook, but we never got Skid-Z out of Mirage. It would have been the easiest redeco ever, especially since Skid-Z was himself a redeco of a Mirage figure.

Dude, you missed an obvious one. G1 Scamper. You'd need to retool the leg slightly to add the extra two wheels, but we NEED a modern Scamper to go with the Siege Six Gun.

Yes, that is almost exactly what I wanted, the Spychangers are the bots I want modern molds for from RID 2001, if Hasbro was to green light this idea they would definitely split them amongst the various waves of figures just so we have wait in order to complete the group.

I can't lie, I love the Sideswipe mold. It's way better than the Skids mold they keep using. He's just fun to transform and use for stop motion films.

Honeslty a masquerade homage with siege sideswipe cosplaying as breakdown and breakdown cosplaying as sideswipe would be a super fun novalty 2 pack

I’d go for a G2 gobot sideswipe scheme. Also I’d be for an orange one. Bump of chicken Prime would’ve appealed to me more had they just done the Halloween scheme of the upcoming non transforming figure I think done by super 7. I forget what that brand is.

Sideswipe's got sooooo many Transformers who share his body type that he puts the Decepticon seekers to shame in terms of repaints.

For the Kingdom mold: Diaclone Universe Deep Cover, Diaclone Universe Tigertrack, G2 Universe Sideswipe (black)

You forget: darksteal, gobots sideswipe, stinger, tracks unit, ground vehicon.

Hot Shot, R.E.V., Crosswise, and W.A.R.S. I could see working. R.E.V. especially because it wouldn't need any retooling just a straight repaint and a new head. But trying to get a pickup truck or an Indy car out of that mold I think would be impossible. The truck would need entirely new legs to make that work because the way it transforms you're not going to get a proper truck bed reusing that engineering. In fact there wouldn't even be enough bulk left for the legs to even stay attached without completely reworking how the legs transform. The Indy car I think would have the opposite problem when the entire torso would have to be engineered differently because there isn't enough bulk in the chest for those arms to work. I'm glad you mentioned Gigawatt and I'd like to add that his gun also needs to be retooled for the Back to the Future 3 design because they attached a train hitch under the front bumper so the train could pull it and his gun happens to store in the vehicle mode exactly where that train hitch would have been attached. They could just make the train hitch part of the gun so it doesn't get in the way in robot mode. That added detail on the hood also happens to sit right where the panel that flips around in his chest is so they just need to retool that panel to include it. And while we're on the subject... retool Astrotrain to look like the train from that movie. Rail Town would absolutely sell those toys in the gift shop. If you don't know Rail Town is the actual train station featured in Back to the Future 3. It's technically a state park so when Arnold Schwarzenegger was our governor and cut funding to our state parks forcing a lot of them to close down, the popularity of Back to the Future 3 was literally the only thing keeping Rail Town running for a while. It's a small town so they would get almost no business if it weren't for tourists coming here to see the filming locations for the movie. So because of that they do always stock up on any Back to the Future 3 merchandise to sell in the gift shop. I think they might even own part of the merchandising rights for the movie since the train station is a Lego set that was featured in Lego dimensions and the number 3 Engine that was the actual train from that movie is still owned and maintained by the park. That might be what's keeping Hasbro from legally making that specific version of the Delorian is they need to get the rights from Rail Town.

Im surprised they haven't just makenanother multi pack with other molds to be use as a generic army builder. Use Sideswipe, Skytread, Reflector, and Chromia as a base. Then use removable heads to make a variety of ground troops.

You could probably do a Toyhac dtyle conversion from Lwmonwipe for the pre-Beasties Cheetor the same way they did an almost total coverage version as Synthwave, though obviously casting it in the proper colors and hitting it with lots of factirt paint for the spot deco like the TFA Blurr as Ytanstech CHeetor would be superior. THough I'd really like to see anencore for YFA Blurr in general, whether it's a Legacy style update or just a straight rerelease of the original.

My friends were talking about this yesterday, but one design I'm surprised they haven't done yet is the Decepticon remote drones from G1's "Making Tracks". They're a neat design for a troop builder and fit the Sideswipe mold pretty well. If Devcon can get a figure having only appearing in one episode, why not these guys?

Oh yeah also they could use the Siege mould for Skybound Arcee, I know the character model is as per G1 but her vehicle mould is reminiscent of some type of lambo

If you're gonna use the mold for botcon cheetor, you could also use it for an updated Cybertron clocker? He doesn't transform quite the same, but close enough.

4:15 I wouldn't use this mould for the pick-up or F1 moulds, to be honest, I think that's _too_ much of a stretch. I have repainted a Firecracker out of it, though. For the pick-up mould, I would (and am) using the Trailbreaker mould; I'm reworking a blue Breaker into Motormouth at the mo, and it's working pretty well... 18:00 As you're bringing up DoFP, another candidate could be Scorponok, who previously used the Legends Scamper mould. 21:00 When you mentioned crossing enemy lines, I didn't think you were gonna cross _realities_ too! 🤣 A couple of _Decepticon_ options that seemed obvious to me (partially because I'm customising them myself) are Rage and Hydradread from the Stormtroopers...

I'd buy the Spychangers with the Sideswipe mould (either) i'd also buy the Bayverse Silver with the Kingdom mould... that being said Mirage in RotB had that one second of being a silver Lambo so that's 2 i'd buy... I would also LOVE to get a Tigertrack with the Kingdom mould.

It would be cool to see the mold heavily remade into a Sunstreaker. That we could have a Siege Sunstreaker I would love to see the G2 go bits and Soy Changers but hopefully they’re different enough to avoid feeling buying the same thing over and over again.

If they were to just reuse the transformation engineering for these hypothetical spy changers, there's nothing saying they can't do 3 variant moulds to accommodate slightly larger and smaller alt modes. Not to mention they could make the internals a s small as possible to allow the vehicle shell to do most of the heavy lifting,

Prowl is Auto-1M Sideswipe is Auto-2M (Arcee is Auto-2F) Sunstreaker is Auto-3M Optimus Prime is Auto-4M Breakdown or Wildrider are Auto-5M Bonecrusher is Auto-6M Hotspot is Auto-7M Beachcombers is Auto-8M There are 4 seeker types, I'll talk them on a video about Seeker molds.
