So jealous of the 15 hours free childcare for 2 year olds in England. We don't get anything for 2 years in Scotland yet. Cam't wait for 30 hours in August!
As a Special Needs teacher I’d say keep in mind Arlo will have 0 clue that he’s the “odd one out” - you will notice and probably other parents will, but his feelings are the priority. If he doesn’t care about being the odd one out, but DOES care about the costume then just don’t bother! Also for a costume party I’d always say “he’s [superhero’s] alter ego” eg superman as Clark Kent where he just looks like a normal guy. So just say alter ego or in disguise if anyone asks. Pushing him won’t change his feelings - if he doesn’t like the feel then he doesn’t like the feel. In time things might lessen, or you’ll find items he can tolerate. But forcing him into something won’t help, Hope that helps x
Hi, I've just started following you and watching your YT videos and I feel like they've helped me so so much. I've also started taking sertraline at the beginning of the year and it's helped me a lot! Always feel like it's not spoken about enough so it's refreshing to see you being so open about it all 😊. So just wanted to say thank you x P.s where are your heatless curlers from? Your hair always looks so amazing! Xx
Also from Australia/Sydney and its tough here. Childcare is expensive my kids just don't go and cost of living is crazy with 2 kids- we almost considered not having a 3rd but don't want regrets in a few years.
Fab hacks! We did shared ownership 9 years ago as that’s all we could afford and we’re so glad we did, we’re hopefully getting a full mortgage soon and although there have been some issues it’s better than staying in rented. Moving up north was something we thought about too but I just didn’t want to be away from my friends and family, it’s crazy how much cheaper it is up there though! ❤
Thanks so much for watching! And glad you found it useful🥰as mamas we definitely need to know useful little hacks to make our lives easier, hope you found some hacks you will use xx
Know what you mean on the Nursey coatings we are lucky to be term time only. We have seen a lot of increases on the Nursey. It might be worth seeing if you can suggest the Nursey ask parents to provide nappies to assist you? I was told it was because they are having to pay the national living wage to staff. I think there is also a massive amount of issues moving abroad. If you do move consider the things that might affect you which is increased fuel to travel back to see people. Friends and missing family.
Hi I have a son who is Autistic and work with children who are too for things like costumes I always found ones that were less restrictive or a bigger size to go over cloths so it wasn't touching skin, I found it's the velcro they have issues with, the feel of the fabric hope this helps ❤
Hey my lovely thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Fab ideas and yes that totally makes sense he didn’t like the feet bit and feeling with the fabric. I did put a T-shirt on under neath but as soon as he sees something different he doesn’t like it if you see what I mean. He actually wore it yesterday at the party and was upset at first but then it seemed to not bother him, I put a little pic up on my Instagram bless his heart. So proud of him. Have a nice rest of your weekend xx
