Solid list, and of course there are so many others who could have been included. Elizabeth Taylor is the correct # 1. She was in a class all by herself.
All natural beauties. Everyone of them. Some others are missing but you need to have top 50 classic beauties. I agree with Elizabeth Taylor as 1. Her eyes are hypnotic.
I add my list of most gorgeous actresses, Kim Novak, Grace Kelly, Doris Day, Bridgette Bardot, Jacqueline bisset, Bo Derek, Ursula Andress, Sharon Stone. Etc.
Doris Day? She was sooo talented. Of course Kim Novak and Lee Remick both have that extra, some of the others lack. What about Angie babes (Dickinson).
Well done. Music was also beautiful! I know a list like this is subjective. PART II should include such stunners as Dorothy Dandridge, Kim Novak, Eva Marie Saint, Marlene Dietrich, Lee Remick, Jeanne Moreau, Janet Leigh, Ava Gardner, the.two Maureens O's (O'Hara and O'Sullivan) and Gene Tierney. Your clips were nicely selected. Thank you.
Marta Toren Anne Baxter Deanna Durbin Alida Valli Yvonne De Carlo Olivia De Havilland Maria Montez Linda Darnell Virna Lisi Joan Leslie Anne Bancroft Jennifer Jones Rhonda Fleming Katryn Grayson Lucille Ball Jean Simmons Linda Christian Silvana Mangano Katharine Hepburn Jeanne Crain.
She was a terrible actress with that high pitch voice. And her reputation, stealing husbands. The only good performance was Whos afraid of Virginia Wolf, because Burton coached her. I prefer someone beautiful and good performer like Vivian Leigh. And great charisma like Bette Davis. For beauty there models, but talent is important, and Taylor and Monroe didnt have any.
Thanks for including Vera Miles. She had a very subtle type of beauty and she could be everything from the fresh faced girl next door to sophisticated woman of the world. I love that Liz and Vivien were the top picks. But no list like this is complete without Gene Tierney and Ava Gardner. Really nice video with some interesting choices and haunting theme music. Thanks!
Can't argue with this list. I am so glad you have included Deborah Kerr. She is so underrated. I agree with others here that Gene and Hedy are not there. I would also consider Lee Remick, Kim Novak and Jean Simmons.
Oh no, Vivien Leigh outclassed Liz Taylor all her short life. She was utterly unique and never took a bad photo. Glad to see Susan Hayward though. She was criminally underrated both the way she looked and as an actress. I would’ve reversed the top two otherwise a good selection. Well done. There were some originals in there too.
Elizabeth Taylor, Ava Gardner, Hedy Lamarr and Vivien Leigh would be my top beauties, but, some of the others here were lovely, as well. Wish someone would mention Linda Darnell, another dark haired beauty. Thank you MK L for a wonderful presentation. Much appreciated.
Pan Lam, the actresses that you mentioned should be on this list, but the De Havilland sisters, Olivia De Havilland, and Joan Fontaine, were BEAUTIES, and SHOULD be on this list!!! Billionaire, Howard Hughes, thought that they were beautiful, and he DATED Olivia, and fell in LOVE with Joan, and asked Joan to MARRY him, CONTINUOUSLY, for TEN (10) YEARS, from 1939-1949, even though Joan was MARRIED to someone else, had NEVER dated Howard Hughes, and had NO interest in Howard Hughes! Howard Hughes, was obsessed with Joan Fontaine, and pursued her relentlessly, which made her sister, Olivia De Havilland, VERY angry, because Olivia wanted Howard Hughes, to MARRY her! It is what it is!
"Unbelievable you left the classic beauty of all time Hedy Lamarr." Hedy Lamarr? She was uglier than my dog, as most of these "classic" actresses were. I've got female cousins who are prettier than these women. The list was probably done by a homosexual!
@@nossasenhoradoo871 You should have your driver's license revoked, because you are obviously medically certified blind. Have you purchased a seeing eye dog, because your comment about Hedy proves you need one badly.
They're not my favourite Italians (Isa Barzizza; Rosanna Shiaffino; Giovanna Ralli). And many others as beautiful as them- they didn't act in Hollywood films (or in only a few), so are ignored in these lists.
Gene Tierney, Ava Gardner, Hedy Lamarr, Debra Paget, Jennifer Jones, Merle Oberon, Yvonne De Carlo, Linda Darnell, Rita Hayworth, Marlene Dietrich, Dorothy Lamour, Carole Lombard, Maureen O Hara, Kim Novak, Romy Schneider, Raquel Welch, Ursula Andress, Ann Margret, Lauran Bacall, Brigitte Bardot, Lana Turner, Virginia Mayo, Veronica Lake, Pier Angeli, Wanda Hendrix, Jean Peters
@@melissarichter4289 1. Marilyn Monroe was a little short ... a pair of beautiful legs are ok, but if they are also long it's better;) 2. She was a fake blonde. 3. Her face wasn't as perfect and her eyes weren't as beautiful as those of many other actresses mentioned in this video 4. Marilyn never played roles of intellectual, elegant, aristocratic woman ... because her type of beauty was not objectively that of a refined woman!
@@melissarichter4289 Nein... NO, I'm sorry for you 😅! I'm natural blonde with blue eyes: I only lightened the tips of the hair (is a hair style technique called "Ombre" or "Shatush" ... the tips brighten) but my fringe and the upper half of my hair is absolutely not dyed!
My Beauty Glamorous squad, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, Judy Garland, Sophia Loren, Veronica Lake, Rita Hayworth, Ava Gardner, Vivien Leigh💖💖
Seven awesome beauties, above the rest: -Isa Barzizza -Rosannah Shiaffino -Giovanna Ralli (especially in 'La Fuga') -Anne Vernon -Susannah York (young..) -Sarah Miles (young..) -Barbara Parkins (especially in 'Valley of the Dolls')
Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder because we don't all agree on who's beautiful or not, except for one woman. Everyone, without exception, agrees that Elizabeth Taylor is beautiful beyond belief. Can you imagine seeing her up close in person? Her beauty is stunning, breathtaking.
But I didnt like her acting with that little girl voice. Also her reputation. My mother always said that Hollywood judged some actresses.like Ingrid Berman for her personal life, but not with Elizabeth Taylor. She also said that her only good performance was Whos Afraid of Virginia Wolf, and only because Richard Burton coached her.
@@dianapoveda3343 Diana, I was talking strictly about her beauty. I didn't think that she was such a great actress either. She was so beautiful to look at, it didn't seem to matter. I loved her in Cleopatra, and I think she was a fun person who was a loyal friend, and didn't flaunt her beauty. She didn't have to. I liked her.
@@dianapoveda3343 Aha! I see now. People didn't judge her acting objectively, not so much because of her beauty, but because she had CHARM, which is very different from good acting. I was guilty too; my blinkers have been removed.
