20 Most Evil Actors in Hollywood History, here goes my vote.. 

Steve McQueen had it in his contracts that money and merchandise would go to boys' towns for the kids. He was in one growing up.

I used to deliver newspapers to Bette Davis when I was a teenager. She was always respectful and a very nice lady back then with me.

I fail to see how the evidence presented qualifies Bogart as one of the 'most evil actors', so I stopped there.

If Lucille Ball was a man all they would have said is he was a perfectionist who delivered perfection.

But were they really "evil"? Maybe they got angry alot or drank too much. But saying they were really evil, usually conjures up thoughts of them being real monsters.

Fields' nose was possibly the most talented actor ever. It gave an amazingly realistic portrayal of the nose of a decades-long extreme alcoholic.

Living in LA for 40 yrs, I found it interesting how so many Angelinos go gaga for Hollywood. Although I enjoy a good film, never thought the actors were any better than any other professional either doing a good job or not. Nothing to idolize there, especially now.

Unfortunately, in your video you kept confusing the singer - Jerry Lee Lewis, with the 'comedian' Jerry Lewis. Although Jerry Lewis was a schmuck and Jerry Lee Lewis did marry his underage cousin - they are not the same nperson.

Ego's can get the better of them!! My Father was a cameraman for MGM and saw how actors and actresses can think more of themselves than they really deserved.

Wow, John Wayne was loyal to a friend and that put him on this list? Or was it really because he was a conservative and loved his country? He and Clark Gable might not have gotten along, but it sure seems a stretch to put him on this list. It really sounded like the reason why he is on the list is his politics, but that's the way it is these days.

This is a short list of actors who are dead. It doesn't include modern-day actors who have been convicted of rape or taken advantage of teenagers or young adult actors who are expected to provide sexual favors to get roles.

Wallace Beery should certainly be on the list. Despite the rough but somewhat lovable image he projected onscreen, he was apparently quite the hateful louse offscreen. After years of telling interviewers that Beery was really a "great guy", frequent co-star Jackie Cooper finally came clean in his autobiography about how much he disliked - if not outright despised Beery. There were accusations of marital rape (Gloria Swanson), potential murder (Ted Healy), rough, uncalled-for mistreatment of co-stars (George Raft) and other incidents that were covered up by MGM, whose president once said defensively: "He (Beery) might be a sonofabitch, but he's our sonofabitch." When it comes to the bad boys of early Hollywood, I'd nominate Beery as the leader of the pack. In fact, when it once was mentioned why no one had yet written a bio on Beery, the answer came back that no one still living who knew or worked with Beery would talk about him. Apparently Mickey Rooney was one of the very few who spoke kindly of Beery . . . but he had his own problems.

I wouldn’t you the word evil to describe most of these actors. Maybe Flynn, Chaplin, and Brando.

My favourite John Wayne story. I had bought a house with a little property in California. A little rural, it was. On the lane there lived a widow in her home and across from her home was an abandoned house. I struck up a friendship with the widow, who was in her sixties. She told me the owner of the abandoned house across from her home was The John Wayne. Wayne had been deceased by this time. She told me Wayne bought the house from her, as a hideaway. She said she was still under a retainer to clean the house, for which she got a small monthly check. Wayne would sometimes go there to drink hard and play cards with his buddies. She said they always left it a mess.

Most of these actors don't seem to be evil.They definitely have issues but that doesn't make them evil. Everybody has issues including ordinary people. So long as they don't harm someone I don't consider them to be evil.

What a bunch of bunk - so Bogart made a film that eventually became famous, but was a completely disjointed production and he liked "alone time" - big deal. Sinatra - it is well documented how he was "mobbed up (even his daughter admitted that). Hoover was politically after him, bunk; it was his mob activities that gained the FBI's attention. Another little video, made by someone who wants attention......

I work at a hotel, and it was kind of knowledge of Jerry Lewis had OCD really bad. Like he would ask staff to do things very specific way. I.e. replacement of salt and pepper shakers stuff like that anecdotal.

What really makes me laugh is the woman you mentioned were exactly like the men you are talking about. What they say about men as womanizers, rpts, or beaters, when a woman is like that they are called empowered. Joan Crawford and Katharine Hepburn, to name two. When you mentioned the FBI on Sentara is a drop in the bucket, he an a lot of actors and entertainers were taken into the McCarthy problem. Gable was a Prima donna that's what was up with that.

Brando was a jerk. He bit Sophia Loren’s lip until it bled because she didn’t appreciate his advances. The director wouldn’t let him near her when they were not filming.

I encountered Mickey Rooney in 1984. He was the guest speaker at something. There wasn't a huge crowd there, maybe 50 people. He was supposed to be there at 9am. He didn't arrive till close to 11. The crowd thinned quite a bit. I wandered off & came back several times. I didn't have any particular interest in him, guess I had nothing else to do that day. His excuse for being so late? The traffic was heavy from Ventura to Hollywood! Don't remember a single word Rooney said, but do recall a comment from one of the few remaining people. When Rooney gave his lame excuse for being late, a guy shouted, "You should have gotten up earlier!" The onlookers chuckled, Rooney just glared at the guy. Takeaway: Rooney is short & round. Came with two suits, bodyguards. Talked for about 15 minutes. Left. What a total waste of my morning! Shorty would have been better off saying there was a wreck on the freeway. Everyone would have believed that!

What rubbish. Didn't get beyond the first one where you labelled Bogart as 'evil' because he refused his (female) co-star's invitation to dinner. Any half-responsible married man would do the same, particularly if there was already tension in his marriage.

I had to skip over the segment on Frank Sinatra. The very sight of him makes me retch.

Everyone one of these people where awesome actors ,so they had flaws as human beings so what no one is perfect, the true evil people are the studio heads of the big studios.

To me the most horrible man was "Kirk Douglas" who acted on his self-entitlement of his position as an actor and abused women left and right including my favorite actress "Natalie Wood" who came to his motel being pushed by her mother - instead of talking to her was raped and she had to be taken to the hospital for what she went through. She also had years of therapy for what she went through.

I don't think any of the actors presented here were evil. Everyone has a dark side, and these actors maybe had more faults than other people. No doubt they were flawed human beings. Evil, theyy don't come close to truly evil people I can think of.

Betty Davis and Lucy were just strong minded driven women. They should not be on this list. I am surprised Hedy Lamarr isn't on this list, then.

There were two men, Steve McQueen, and John Wayne , mentioned in this video that tells the truth about their evil ways in the past. Yet, both found redemption and Salvation in their later lives. Some of these actors had strong personalities not evil. And most people now know, with the untimely deaths of many comedians, that many really good actors had traumatic childhoods and disassociated which made them shoe ins for pretending to be someone else.

Evil is a strong word. Jerry Lewis was a predator so he qualifies, but the rest were just Aholes, not evil.
