It's so great to see you back! I hope everything is okay after the loss of your grandmother. Remember we can always wait a little longer if you need more time.💘
Soooo this has nothing to do with the books you spoke about in this video, however I just finished the winnowing flame series last night and the end made me ugly cry lol. Thank you for recommending these fabulous books on your channel. These are not the only books I picked up after you mentioned them and so far all the books you had liked and mentioned I really enjoyed. So thank you for your time that you spend on your content!!
For me, Untethered Sky delivered a fully fleshed out story, more well done than many novels I've read, even though it was just a novella. Didn't feel too short at all.
I really liked Sunlit Man, but I grew up reading library books and I often couldn't start series with the first book. I started Wheel of Time with book 6!
Apologies for unsubtle plug (and I'm not here claiming I write amazing fantasy books) but I had a YA fantasy come out literally this time last week, on the admittedly slim chance anyone is interested (Hunt For The Raven's Spire by EJ Graham)
Just wondering if you've read the Tangled Fae book series by Sarah K. L. Wilson? I was looking for a series like The Cruel Prince and found this one. I'm on the second book (out of five) now and it's so good! I almost like it more than The Cruel Prince. I can't find any reviews of it on RU-vid though so it must be a well kept secret. I highly recommend it (so far).
I want to read the Combat Codes trilogy SO BAD but can't find the third book anywhere, even though it came out in 2021... I can't find a single battered paperback or anything... What gives with this, I wonder?
Divine Rivals- So far, so good. I tried to read the paperback Girl From The Other Side. Big fail, I can't read it, vision to poor, I should read it on my Kindle Scribe or on Kindle Cloud Reader on my computer. I want to read VE Schwab. I learned on RU-vid that her being a Potterhead is what got her started writing fantasy. Great. Spy x Family- the novelty is wearing off. Thank you.
The Thorns Remain is such an interesting case to me, because I think people went in expecting it to be another ACOTAR and it's very much not. So I think it got mismarketed as a romance when really it's more horror in my opinion, and because of that it hasn't found the right audience.
I think that if you are familiar with T.Kingfisher you would not expect another ACOTAR. Haven't read it yet, but it is on my TBR and I expect slow burn horror.
I’m So Happy You Mentioned Foxglove Ell Because I Literally Finished It Yesterday And I Absolutely Loved It 5 Stars For Me 📖🦊🧤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And now I’m anxiously awaiting Wisteria coming next year in the summer I Wish I Didn’t Have To Wait That Long Because The Way Foxglove ended I Need Wisteria Like Now Lol 😂 Have a Wonderful Day and Happy Reading 📖😊
Shameless self promo for Sword and Mirror. Great middle grade intro to the fantasy genre with a simple magic system and an angsty pre-teen for all those kids in your life. By M. McGehee
It’s ok not to like a Cosmere book. I’m struggling with Mistborn 2. I don’t find that I care about any of the characters. I couldn’t even finish Bands of Mourning. How the same person could write the Stormlight Archives is a mystery to me.
