I already wanted to read Fireborne, but hearing you pitch it with that specific request has definitely moved it up on my list

For the person asking for "adult epic fantasy with a political driven story and romance (little to no spice)", I'd warmly recommend Rook & Rose series by M.A. Carrick. It is very much a political fantasy with focus on relationships between characters (be it familial, friendly or romantic). The romance is also quite a slow burn 💖 and there are multiple possible romantic relationships to root for. I'm currently reading the second book in the series and loving every second of it ☺

Is lady of darkness very spicy? I want to read it but I don’t like much spice. 3/10 or less is what I normally read.
