Thanks alot mate I'm new to the game tryna get better and your channel is the perfect place to be, please keep up the good work ! Would love to see more tutorials for new comers to the game!
I do that reaper stick all the time in 21.. the placement of the of the ball in your play sheet screen its showed that for years. You hold L2 and press you user will make a tackle 98% of the time. It breaks your player down to square and a is a conservitve tackle.. really helps! Good content! Oh and also try and ID the mike. Helps to locatw every body on the fields and motion is a great thing in madden!
The last madden I played was on ps2. There’s a couple of tips and tricks (mostly in the first ten listed) that were the big thing on Madden back in the day
@@SpruceGooseTV ... can you explain why Free Safeties are swapped with Strong Safeties in Madden? It wasn't always this way, & I cannot find an answer for it. Yes, safeties will play free or strong positions but, the Strong generally plays in the box (hence strong) & typically the free is the deeper & better cover safety. It's every team that has FS listed as Strong Safeties. Is it because the game automatically puts the best wide receiver at the WR1 (SE - Split End aka X) vs. the WR2 (Flanker aka Z)?
This is like the holy grail of Madden videos lol i knew most of this stuff, but I’ll be damned if I wasn’t coming back and watching again to learn a few things haha killer finds
Dude, I watched another guy's video of the same exact tips, he only had 10 of the 20 you had though. I noticed though that he posted his 8 hours ago and you posted this over a month ago. You rock man. I'm sorry though that your on your game and the real deal and others copy you and get more subs
Say what you will about the newer Madden games, but I absolutely love freeform passing. I can finally hit those tight window throws that would always get picked off in older games
I knew most of this except the QB giving himself up. I was trying to figure out if there was yet another undocumented way to do this and now I know. I don't care for speed boost and instant speed because that goes against the RATINGS that are supposed to matter and it goes against PHYSICS, but hey... I see this was competitive but was the level of gameplay: All-Madden? I ask because those high bullet passes, just like yours are intercepted most of the time on Competitive/All-Madden. 🤔🤔 Other than that because it does not hype the faulty game, I have to say this is a good video for information for those who are new to the game who aren't don't know these features.
This is good shit my man real talk i already use and knew alot of this old school long time madden guy here but alot of new features now and i learned a few and i appreciate that cuz very few have used things against me that i didnt know how they was doing it . Thanks bro Be well
Just a heads up, they sadly patched Tip #11 just a few days after I posted this video lol. I asked a dev about it and *supposedly* it was a mistake, so hopefully one day we'll get it back.
@@SpruceGooseTV it was a mistake to tell you what hash you're on?! That's unfathomable. The only mistake was that it was so subtle in the first place. This game, man...
Hey man! I don't think it makes any difference, you can hold sprint before the ball gets there! The more important thing is selecting the right type of catch. So in open space, RAC catching (holding X or Square) will make a big difference for keeping your momentum
@@SpruceGooseTV Thank you for replying back! I wanted to ask if there perhaps you should not sprint the moment that your receiver catches the ball, similar to how you shouldn't sprint with your running back behind the line of scrimmage. I was curious to see if there was a similar rule to follow.
@@co81385 I don't think it makes a difference, and in fact if it's a situation where you're clicking onto your receiver before the ball comes in, then you probably do want to be holding sprint even before the catch since otherwise by clicking on you'd be slowing your receiver down!
Hey man! Cheers for the tips! I have a series idea, i know its not for most but theres is basically 0 content for this. Im european, got the game on EA Pass and trying to understand both the concepts of the console game as the actual game of football. Id suggest (and ask) for a basic series aiming for anyone who is brand new to the sport. Because of EA play i think many more people will start playing in Europe, and UFC and NBA are already WAY bigger, so this could grow a lot aswel. Long ass comment, if you get thru it, thanks ahaha
You are legit , man. Every other RU-vidr gives instruction fragments. The only one that is thorough like you is Eric Rayweather . They're guarding tips tighter than than colonel Sanders concealing the chicken recipe.
I was hoping you mention the L2 button where you run and see a open hole to right if you are running to the left. You hold L2 flick your stick to that direction of the open hole
@@presidential3228 it’s called hard cut when you run the ball. If you run outside handoff to the right and you see a big hole at B gap. You hard cut towards the open hole
i knew a lot except some surprising ones, is weak box new? i used to play m21 very hard and would send 3 or 2 a lot and still could stop run but this year every time i send 2 im toast
Weak box was reworked! Last year it was based on formation, so you could send three and be fine. This year if you only send two or if you pass commit then you're in big trouble!
@@SpruceGooseTV dude i was top .1% in mut 2 years ago and i came back after taking a year off and i was getting BULLIED no wonder LMAO im like big nickel can not stop the run more like i cant double hard/curl flat my ends anymore lmao!!! good looks and thanks for the response
Nope! The idea is that the very moment the ball is snapped you already have the sprint & direction inputs on the controller, but it doesn't matter what order you press them
@@SpruceGooseTV so the direction you point the left analog is the direction you go? And if yes then you could essentially put your controller down and your user will go where you pointed when the ball is snapped if I am reading this right
Its almost too much for me... especially when im about to run a play... it would take alot of hours to get comfortable using all these features every play
Hey, could you give me an example of a speed boost on defense and offense. Since the last patch.. my Ws turned to consistent Ls. Every time they patch the game my game goes down hill. I was using RB to get that additional speed burst, and obviously you cannot use RT until you're in open spaces. So is there an example of a speed burst that can be used right now. I can't keep up with receivers and get ran down by the d every time I get rare open pass. I notice my opponent catches every damn thing, including the passes I throw. I'm just sick of it, man. I figure you're honest enough to give me an answer to the best of your ability.
Use the same formations as much as possible with great balance. Down and distance need to be understood completely for avg success. Noticing defenses presnap weakness will help audibles to gain bigger. Again same look helps. 2nd and under four is always good to try deep route plays from play action. Run draw plays on passing downs that numbers are good for you. Create imbalances for defense motioning odd positions that natural route or block action on different side is big. Also wr or anyone kept motion with snap inside tackle pocket to give Xtra blocker on guard pulls plays backside can make longer runs. Run on zone first as mindset to get them out portion in zone if they stay with it. Use all three downs to get goal. Run plays in series to set up the one you want Run or pass ten yards or greater.
